Real Betis vice-president Jose Miguel Lopez Catalan has confirmed the club want to sign Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik this summer.
The Poland international initially struggled with injuries when joining Napoli in summer 2016 and only made seven Serie A starts during his first two seasons.
However, he impressed last term, scoring 20 goals in all competitions, and is now a top target for Celta. “Milik’s a player that interests us because we’re looking for a striker with his characteristics,” Lopez Catalan told Estadio Deportivo.
“We like him and we are looking for a new forward, but I cannot say any more than that.” Milik is under contract at Napoli for another two years and is reportedly valued at around 50million euros by the Italians.
