Union Saint Gilloise forward, Victor Boniface believes the Belgian Pro League side are poised to secure a place in semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League.
Boniface and his teammates were held to a 1-1 draw by Bundesliga outfit, Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of their quarter-final clash on Thursday night.
The 22-year-old scored the game’s curtain raiser in the 51st minute before the hosts rallied back to earn a share of the spoils.

Union Saint Gilloise will host Bayer Leverkusen in the second leg next week Thursday in Brussels.
The striker is confident they will get the job done in front of their fans.
“We knew it would be a difficult match, so we are happy with the draw. We can be proud that we are already there, against a very strong team. But now we are looking forward to the return match in Brussels,” he told Het Nieuwsblad.
Boniface is the joint-top scorer in the Europa League with six goals.
