Super Eagles defender Jamilu Collins returned to the starting lineup as SC Paderborn recorded their first win in the German Bundesliga this season following a 2-0 home win against Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.
Collins missed Paderborn’s 1-0 away defeat to Cologne last weekend as a result of illness.
He was however restored to the starting lineup after he regained full fitness.
It was the left-back’s eighth league appearance of the season albeit he has scored once.
Abdelhamid Sabiri opened scoring for Paderborn three minutes before the break, while Sebastian Schonlau added the second in the 64th minute.
Paderborn will travel to Hoffeinheim next Saturday for their next Bundesliga game.
