The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have appointed Gambian referee, Papa Bakary Gassama as centre referee for Sunday’s Confederation Cup clash between Nigeria’s Rangers International and Saltas FC of Burkina Faso, Completesports.com reports.
Gassama, 39, will be assisted by his countrymen, Abdul Aziz Bollel Jawo and Issa Yaya for the game.
The Group B clash will be played at The Cathedral, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu. Kick-Off is 2pm local time.
The Flying Antelopes are yet to lose a game in the competition this year, winning five and drawing one out of six games.
The Enugu club will hope to continue their impressive run in the group stage of the competition.
The group’s other game; a Tunisian derby between Etoile du Sahel and CS Sfaxien will hold later on Sunday evening (5pm local time) at the Olympic Stadium in Sousse.
The top two teams in the group will proceed into the knockout phase of the competition.
