Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro will be among the spectators when Plateau United take on Esperance of Tunisia in their CAF Champions League first round second leg clash in Rades on Saturday night.
Peseiro arrived Tunisia on Saturday morning for the game.
It is the second time the Portuguese will watch Plateau United play live after doing so against Akwa United in a Nigeria Professional Football League encounter in Uyo last season.
Plateau United take a 2-1 lead into the encounter that will be played at the Stade de Olympique, Rades.
Skipper of the side, Daniel Itodo know what awaits his team in North Africa, but believes they have what it takes to cause an upset.
“I believe in the team and the coaches we have and I know we are going to cause an upset in Tunis and get a win. We are well prepared both physically, psychologically and spiritually ready for the task ahead, we know what we are going to face intimidation from their fans but we are ready,” Itodo CAFonline.
Itodo has said the victory in the first leg was down to self belief and fighting spirit, especially noting they were first to concede.
“We fought till the end and that is what we are taking to Tunis. We are not ready to give up,” he adds.
