Brazil legend Kaká was inducted into AC Milan Hall of Fame before kickoff in the Derby della Madonnina against Inter on Saturday.
And in front of a packed San Siro, Milan ended their rivals’ unbeaten run in this season’s Serie A with a 3-1 win, as reported by Yahoo Sports.
Belgian Diogo Moreira put on a show, wearing the same No. 22 shirt made iconic by Kaká.
That makes three straight wins over Inter in Serie A.
And eight games unbeaten against their rivals across all competitions.
Milan began warming up for the celebrations by posting a video of the former midfielder’s goals against Inter.
He even recreated the celebration seen so often in Europe during his time in a Milan shirt.

Already a World Cup winner with Brazil and a standout at São Paulo, Kaká signed for Milan on August 15, 2003.
He was 21 and left São Paulo for $8.5 million.
Milan’s owner at the time, Silvio Berlusconi, said he had been signed for “peanuts.”
On his competitive debut, he immediately consigned Rui Costa, Seedorf and Rivaldo to the bench.
Kaká would make history over two spells, totaling 307 appearances, 104 goals and 81 assists.
After the disappointment of finishing runners-up to Liverpool in the 2004/05 Champions League, he led Milan to “revenge” two years later.
He won the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2007. He remains the last Milan player to be crowned the world’s best.
