Norwich have been boosted by the return of Mario Vrancic, Tim Krul, Alex Tettey and Onel Hernandez to first-team training this week.
Canaries’ boss Daniel Farke has been hampered by the loss of several of his key players in the early months of the Premier League campaign and, apart from their shock 3-2 win against Manchester City in mid-September, the 2019-20 Championship title winners have struggled on their return to the top flight.
A victory against Newcastle in August has been their only other moment of joy as the East Anglian outfit have lost their other six matches. It has left Norwich in second-bottom spot in the table and a point adrift of Southampton in the final position of safety.
However, the injury situation appears to be finally easing after the club’s Instagram post on Tuesday showed four key man all back on the training ground.

Vrancic has yet to make an appearance in the Premier League after he injured his calf in the club’s pre-season friendly against Atalanta.
Hernandez played in the 4-1 opening-night defeat at Liverpool before picking up a knee injury when falling down the stairs at home, while Tettey was forced off in the 2-0 loss at Burnley on September 21 with a muscular problem.
Dutch goalkeeper Krul then missed the following defeats against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa, having picked up a back problem but the former Newcastle custodian looks a certainty to return in goal on Saturday when Norwich travel to take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The aforementioned quartet’s return to training is the latest boost for Farke after it was revealed late last week that midfielder Tom Trybull was also back in the ranks after almost six weeks out with an ankle problem.
However, second-choice keeper Ralf Fahrmann, Jamal Lewis, Christoph Zimmermann and Timm Klose are again set to miss out on Saturday because of their respective injury issues.
