Chelsea have offered free-agent Tosin Adarabioyo a contract ahead of the summer transfer window.
Adarabioyo will become a free agent next month having rejected the chance to sign a new contract at Fulham.
Another Premier League club Newcastle United were close to agreeing a deal with the Nigerian-born player but now face stiff competition from the Blues.

Manchester United have also linked with the centre-back but the Red Devils didn’t table an offer.
Adarabioyo made 22 appearances for Fulham this season, scoring twice, and has spent the last four seasons with the West London club.
Chelsea and Newcastle United are now awaiting the 22-year-old’s final decision.
The Blues have lost experienced centre-back Thiago Silva and Trevoh Chalobah is also set to move elsewhere this summer.
