  • Me I have no qualms for Osimhen to sign for Chelsea. Historically, Chelsea has been a club to favour sharp, powerful, direct centre forwards with ground and aerial prowess. Osimhen fits that mould perfectly!

Drogba, Diego Costa, Morata (although he struggled at Stamford Bridge) and Tammy Abraham are all centre forwards whose technique aren’t too dissimilar to Osimhen.

Personally, I think there is little that separate Osimhen and Abraham in terms of overall ability. As a Nigerian, I feel no shame to openly declare that Osimhen is slightly better 🙂

All that is left now for Osimhen is to sustain his sense of focus. Chelsea might just be going down the path of another Drogba here….

    • Osimhen is a complete striker and I say that for the following reasons
1)He has speed to run into spaces.
2)He can dribble with both legs.
3)He has finishing with both legs.
4)He is strong and has stamina.
5)He is good in the air with great heading technique.
6)He can holdup play excellently well.
7)He can shoot with both legs.
8)He has presence in the opponent box with his aggressive approach……
I don’t see all this attributes in Tammy and lampard knows that hence the desire to bring in osimhen.
For those of you scared that osimhen might not make it in EPL please think again….osimhen was designed for the EPL and he will be unstoppable there and coupled with the fact that only a big money transfer can bring him to Chelsea which most times translates to regular playing time.

  • Chelsea has always been a club with traditional tall, strong, powerful n direct play strikers. Drogba, Anelka, Costa, Demba Ba, even Samuel Eto, all this legends have something in common, which is direct play, hanging on, frustrating n taking the ball directly to the defenders. Oshiemen belongs to this type, so if the rumor is true, I advise him to grab it because he will be a huge success in Chelsea. Like @Deo said, Oshiemen has almost same playing pattern with Tammy but more skillful and stronger. Thank God our players are making huge progress
