Manchester United forward Chido Obi is set to join Eredivisie side Willem II on a season-long loan.
The Danish youth international is moving to the Netherlands to secure regular first-team minutes and senior experience.

The deal is able to proceed past the English transfer deadline because the Dutch transfer window remains open.
“Fabrizio Romano provided details on the move on Wednesday afternoon, revealing that it is a done deal.
Romano said on X: ‘Chido Obi from Manchester United to Willem II, here we go! Deal done for the striker to join Dutch side on season long loan.
‘#MUFC authorize medical taking place today.
‘No buy option clause included, loan move until the end of the season – after @VI_nl.’

Chido Obi will be desperate to catch the eye during his time in the Eredivisie, with the aim of returning to Old Trafford and staking a claim for a place in Carrick’s first-team thinking.
Recall that the teenager made his debut for United less than 12 months after joining the club’s youth ranks from Arsenal but it looks like it will be at least a year before he gets another chance to impress United fans in the first team.
