Iheanacho what a miss, I think he  missed that goal on purpose lol.The guy just bailed Manchester city.

    • I am sooo 100% in support if Rohr drops Iheanacho for Afcon. In fact, he shouldn’t be invited for the preliminary list of 35 players. He obviously was doing Man City a favour being Guardiola’ s old boy (who offloaded him without a second thought). I AM SO PAINED. I don’t like him anymore. Silly boy!!:(. What can Brighton do next Sunday. I still have faith sha.

  • That would have redeemed alot about him. Unbelievable miss!

  • Paschal 5 years ago

I just hope leicester wont sell him to some division 3 club now. Chukwueze used to say that Iheanacho is his role model but with the way things are going, Chukwueze could soon become Iheanachos role model. I dont pray that happens though. I pray Iheanacho gets his groove back soon. So sad.

    • @Paschal You are very Stupid for Saying that!. So you are wishing our most talented player in Europe right now regression??? God forbid!! anyway your prayer will not come to pass. Chukwueze will continue to soar higher and Higher because he is talented, Why will Chukwueze continue to soar???? just have a look at his surname us Igbo’s know the meaning.

Mr man shut up what is your problem here who is wishing Chukwueze bad or you think you’re the only one who loves him? Don’t let over excitement bring out the cowardice in you. Else I will call Simon on you lol

        • @Chima E Samuels My friend You are stupid!! who called you into this conversation. stay your lane and let big boys who know about ball talk anumanu.

          • Chima E Samuels 5 years ago

look at this village goat calling himself big boy. All this Aba boys eh don’t worry Bhuari is sending fulani troops to your zone very soon. You know ball and you think Kelechi is a bad player because of poor career decision and off form Ewu not your fault i wish CS can Ban idiots like you who have nothing meaningful to contribute in sports conversations. Bloody ignorant boy who deceives himself with his zero knowledge of sports and life.

Kelechi, why kelechi, i was really hoping and praying he gets the goal that nails Mancity’s title hopes.

Like i predicted, the chance came and he blew it. That would have been a goal that will reedeem himself before, Mancity, Leicester city and Nigeria.what a chance, what a miss.

Boy time is running out, still waiting for you to bounce back.

At this point, Ihenacho have not only proved that we are right to say his place in super eagles is available for the taking by any of our  5 hottest forwards thia season

No one should blem our coach if Nacho miss out of Afcon squad

  • Ayphillydegreat 5 years ago

To be honest that miss was unbelievable. Usually that was a sitter for him but he blew it uncharacteristically. It looks like his confidence has deserted him. He’s got the talents no doubt by the way he gets into the position. His confidence level on the pitch is what he needs to find again.

Kele missed a great chance. However, the positive is that his positioning is still ok. The way he made that run into the Man City box gives me hope. Football is a funny old game. Kele that everyone is condemning today, may become our hero at the Afcon. The stone that was rejected……
How about that golazo from Captain Kompany? What a strike. One more win for Man City, and they become champions.

GR has his team already and I don’t think kelechi has any slot in this team. Bar any injury or sudden loss of form the man is taking 3 goal keepers( uzoho, Akpeyi and Ezenwa) 8 defenders (Balogun, Ekong, Omeruo, Awaziem, shehu, Aina, Collins and one more defender but not sure who’s gonna be because Tyronne is still recuperating.6 midfielders(indidi, etebo, iwobi, ogu, semi and Mikel) 7 forwards(ighalo, onuachu, musa, kalu, onyekuru,Moses Simon and possibly chuckuwueze… But not really sure about kelechi being part of this team.

    • Aleks 5 years ago

I totally agree with this list. Although from the count that would be 24 players (if you add the one defender missing). But adding the extra defender is not necessary, Kalu or Moses can slot in as Right Wing Back deputising for Shehu, while Aina or Moses can also Slot in as Left Wing Back deputising for Colin’s. So essentially the team is complete! I’ll be surprised if there are more than one change from this list when Rohr releases his final list of 23 players.

  • Bryt oni 5 years ago

My naija 23. Uzoho.Akpeyi.Ezenwa.Aina.Shehu.Collins.Awaziem.Ekong.Balogun.Omeruo.Semi.Etebo.Ndidi.Ogu.iwobi.Mikel.Musa.Kalu.Onyekuru.Ighalo.Chukwueze.Onuachu.Simon or Iheanacho.

  • I agree with the team list except for awaziem moses simon and semi ajayi. These tree players if i where to be rohr i will replace them with azubuike k nmankali and brown ideye or idowu these are natural national teamers

  • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

Kelechi cannot even run anymore…! I feel very very sad right now. This a player who was averaging 1 goal per game for SE in 2017. So so sad.

  • Chima E Samuels 5 years ago

Guys easy on Kelechi if only most of us commenting here has kicked football before on a high level you will understand he was trying to curl the ball using finesse and he lost it even Leo Messi can lose and also convert that chance take note that he had to apply the shot one time or dribble the GK but he choose the latter and lost. Let’s not kill the guys career and send him back to the streets again.

    • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

The Kelechi of Mancity would have buried that chance blindfolded. The ball ended up somewhere close to the corner flag. It’s very glaring the kid is out of form and out of sorts.

      • Chima E Samuels 5 years ago

What i saw was lack of confidence to execute what hes a specialist at. And it is very sad to see how the world at large on various sport website and circuit is hauling insults on the boy. Kelechi need to see a man of God for grace because certain things are not natural.

  • Edoman. 5 years ago

l wish kelechi had scored that goal but, that is football. It can happen to anyone. Iheanacho can be forgiven on that one though. Imo.

    • Chima E Samuels 5 years ago

Yes 100% forgiven Ronaldo have missed greater chances nobody killed him. Honestly i am praying for kelechi each time i remember the wonders of his left.

  • Walking 5 years ago

Even if he had scored.. That won’t guarantee him a spot on the provisional list of the super eagles…

Even africa best Salah miss empty net VS BARCA

  • Glory 5 years ago

I think we should allow Nacho have some breath. He too should try stay far from those supposedly friends that are not helping him focus on his game. Kele hasn’t given a 3rd of his best yet. He is a super talent n will definitely come firing again soon. He only needs some space n if I were him, I wouldn’t bother much about AFCON but rather focus on getting my boots burning hot again. I ll never castigate him for missing dat chance, mistake in football can come in many folds. Kanu, Aiyegbeni, Ronaldo, Stephen Gerald n many more, all made costly mistakes at one point in their football career. I know everyone expressing their anger here about the miss is because of their trust n love for Kele but there is a time to just let Nacho be n now is it.
