And according to football facts and statistics outfit, OptaJose, Villarreal have become the first Spanish Football team ever to play in the competition.

Villarreal went all the way to the semi-finals of this season’s Champions League where they lost to Liverpool in both legs.

Chukwueze scored seven goals, made three assists in 37 appearances in all competitions for Villarreal this season.

After coming on with less than 10 minutes left, Chukwueze scored the equaliser in the 89th minute to make it 1-1 and give Villarreal a 2-1 aggregate win.

However, they surrendered their first leg advantage as Villarreal leveled up before the break.

But a rejuvenated Liverpool side fourth back to win 3-2.

Chukwueze wazzer dazza. You are one of the few Nigerian footballers that make I and I follow Super Eagles these days. All those bald head administrators with rotten teeth have killed the fun. Heaven bless Chukwueze and all deserving Super Eagles players.
