Nigerian striker Friday Etim has been named the Danish Superliga Player of the Month for September, Completesports.com reports.
Etim was rewarded for his outstanding performances for FC Midtjylland during the month, scoring three goals and providing an assist.
The 24-year-old forward also found the net in Midtjylland’s Danish Cup clash against Sundby BK.

Etim beat FC Copenhagen duo Diant Ramaj and Asger Sørensen to claim the individual accolade.
Etim Thrilled With Award
Reacting to the award, the Nigerian striker expressed his delight while highlighting his contribution to the team.
“I’m happy with the award. It’s been a good September for me. Of course, you’re happy to score three goals as a striker because that’s the way I can help the team, among other things,” Etim told Midtjylland’s official website.
“Now it’s about continuing, because there is still a lot of work for us to do. I hope and believe that this is just the beginning.”
