Dennis Ready To Give All For Nigeria Against Black Stars

Emmanuel Dennis says he is prepared to give his all on the pitch for Nigeria in today’s 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs encounter against the Black Stars of Ghana.

The first leg at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi ended in a 0-0 draw which leaves the Super Eagles needing a home win to reach Qatar 2022, which would be their fourth global appearance in a row.

Dennis featured as a substitute in the encounter replacing Emmanuel Dennis In the 59th minute.

“These games are the biggest games of my life and my career. We must go all out for our country. It’s do or die. Players must be ready to drop our blood and sweat on the pitch to qualify for the World Cup,” Dennis told BBC Sport Africa

“I’ve never thought in my head that we didn’t qualify. Impossible. If I’m going to die on the pitch, let me die playing for my people,” Dennis added.

“You play this tournament one time every four years, and before the four years, you don’t even know what can happen. You can even die before the next one.

“You might not even be playing football. So many things can happen. So, if you get the opportunity, you need to write history. We have to come out and give everything.

“We don’t need all the criticism as we must all come together as one to support the players, the country and make sure we are the ones going to the World Cup and not our opponent.”

    Bassey / Balogun / Ekong / Aina

    Uzoho

Please let us start like this for the Win

    • I will play zaidu. We can’t start experimenting with Bassey wihh a crucial match as this. More so. He hasn’t really played under this kind of weather before and he already complained that it is difficult to breathe… We can risk with supporting attackers and midfielders. Certainty not defenders…

      • I support you on this, bassey play good on Thursday but leave many room behind, like twice like that we saw him running and chasing the player after loosing the ball, one of those loose ball lead to that cut back from the black start which could have been a goal if any black star player was there, I will start Zaidu and Simon, they both compliment each other well from that left side of the pitch,
