Talented goal poacher. Keep it up bro. Forget the politics and business behind the SE player invitations and selection. Your talent will make a way for you in Jesus name

Feyenoord? Oh! I thought it was Eredivisie goal of the Month. Good job lad, more to come.

    • Which one has your Retired Ighalo won?
Man U bench warmer of the year? Or Anthony Martial apprentist of the season?
Dessers, Awoniyi, Sadiq, & Dennis are Super Eagles real Goal Poachers! Take it or leave it. AFCON 2021 will reveal all.

–The Nigerian scored 17 goals during his 18-month spell in the Premier League with Watford.
–He won the Player of the Month award after scoring 6 goals in 5 games in December 2015.

–Odion Ighalo has won the Player of the month of April award in the Chinese League – The Super Eagles striker has been superb for his side Changchun Yatai this season

–Ighalo netted six goals in five league outings to help Carlos Inarejos’ men finish the campaign in fantastic fashion with three consecutive wins.

–After an impressive performance for his Saudi Arabian club, Al-Shabab, Super Eagles returnee Odion Ighalo has won the West Asia player of the month award for October.

–Ighalo with five goals to his name finished ahead of big guns like Riyad Mahrez and Sadio Mane who both finished on three goals respectively for Algeria and Senegal.
–The Nigerian was also the top scorer during the qualifying series for AFCON 2019. Then, Ighalo scored seven goals as the Super Eagles secured qualification for the continent’s biggest football event after missing out on back-to-back editions.
–Aside from winning the Golden Boot usually given to top scorers in tournaments of this magnitude, Ighalo was also included in the team of the tournament (BEST XI).

        • But alas we live in the future Ighalo is a EPL Star no doubt but I am backing our current EPL stars to out do and out shine what Ighalo did and put Nigeria firmly on the Map in England.

P.S when Osibobo moves to England E GO CHOKE E GO SCATTA OSIBOBO Will OUT DO DROGBA!!!! IN JESUS NAME!!

          • P.S EMMA DENNIS WILL ALSO SCATTA THIS LEAGUE AND SAMMY CHUKWUEZE AS WELL AS CHIDERA EJUKE!!!. Awoniyi I believe will be a Bayern Munich star one day. Can you see @Dr Drey no mediocre minds here bro we aim big. and we would like our stars to out do the past. And the only way they will do is if we back them and give them the platform and STOP LIVING ON PAST GLORIES THAT IS WHAT DEVELOPEMENT IS ABOUT AND FORWARD TRAGECTORY

        • You Hypocrite @Drey.
You are living in past Glory. I gat it b4 no b property.

On merit and current form Ighalo can’t match those red hot, agile and parcy strikers like; VO9, Awoniyi, Dennis, Dessers, Umar Sadiq and co.

And let’s not expect so much from the old inundated P.E mechanic.

    Congrats bro

  • More trouble for onuachu with afcon knocking at the door.

  • I have this niggling feeling Nigeria will win the AFCON 21 in Cameroun – which will feel like double satisfaction and dramatic irony given the fact Cameroun robbed of the trophy twice under their man Hayatou, including in Lagos in 2000.

Other African countries have sprinkles of big, individual stars, but with the SE, it’s a constellations like no other. Too much sauce everywhere. I pray Osimhen is able to join the party for triple insurance.

    • pompei 2 years ago

Kel, the only Afcon I concede to Cameroon is the 1984 edition. We were beaten hands down. No argument.
But their 1988 and the 2000 victories were “wind aided”. Especially that 1988 one. That was daylight robbery in Casablanca, Morocco.
Winning the Afcon in their VERY BEFORE, right under their nose, inside their backyard, will be a nice comeback.

      • Hahahaha. Classic. I tell you, Hayatou do us strong things during those his dictatorial years. Falcons did it in 2016 I think. The guys need to complete the round.

        • That 2016 women’s Afcon, The Lionesses fought tooth and claws to get something out of that match…. Oparanozie buried them with a sucker punch but in truth, I knew then that many of our ladies were holding on too long to their Falcons careers……

    • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

I thought Osimehn is back from injury?? And Victor Moses is back too..And there is ighalo already who just came from retirement. Plus y’all keep clamouring for Denis and Awoniyi. Not to forget our record breaking captain Ahmed Musa. So where is the space for him???

**** DESSERS DESERVES TO BE IN AFCON !!!

  • Fred Ebohi 2 years ago

    Congrats Dennis.
Our, Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr, abeg of you, invite Desser now. I have spoken.

  • pompei 2 years ago

What if Rohr wins us the Afcon, then leads us to the world cup, AND WINS NIGERIA HER FIRST EVER WORLD CUP?
Omo9ja will attempt to jump inside the Lagos lagoon. But I will be there to stop him. I won’t allow him to kill himself.
The “mechanic coach” would become one of the greatest coaches the world has ever seen.
Maybe this is the dream Rohr is chasing. The dream that makes him tolerate nonpayment of salaries, and other NFF nonsense.
Dreams may come true, or not. But the chase continues.

    • De Star 2 years ago

@Pompei ; Rohr winning Afcon and WC ? If you are dreaming you better wake up from your dream .

Afcon ? may be with determination of the avalanche of stars we have with right selection without corrupt invitation of those that can bail out Rohr financially like the retired flopped Igahalos of this world, but WC is more than individual brilliance; quality coach must be involved, not a retiring PE Mechanic Rohr that has never won even U15 local cup let alone major tournaments in his entire 30 years coaching career.

That means NFF should also endeavour to pay Rohr his salary, otherwise, the likes of Igahalo would not only come to stay but the likes of the retiring Mikel , Taye Taiwo , Obafemi Martins would soon find themselves in SE , and their fellow retiring baba 70 Rohr will soon find themselves in Afcon, and when they flopped ; the Mechanic PE Rohr will still come out to plead for Nigerians to give them more time to enable them go to WC as he had shameless begging for the flopped Igahalo to be given more time to adapt again .

  • The stumble coach will still invite players he likes, instead of inviting players by current form, by merit right now Desser, Dennis are ahead of Nacho, Onouchu but still he will act blind to see this things this are one of so many reasons super eagles fans want him to go vacate the job.

    • Coache 2 years ago

What pained me in the last game was how Kel could not run and even Onuachu. Based on speed the two did not come close to Ighalo. Kel is like NEPA, it’s only one month to the end of the season that he will start scoring goals so that contract can be renewed or he doesn’t go on loan. Waste of immense talent.

  • @MOMO9ja let me just take this time, to bring awareness of everybody on this platform. You were the one that backed this boy whole heartedly and questioned every time he was omitted you took it upon your head to go against every negative forces on this Platform in the form of disguised so called Nigerian no 1 fans (Rohr Yansh lickers). I know some will claim to have always supported his call back to the team but we Know the likes of … dem know dem selves (Roar lovers) will claim that they have backed him from day one. I remember how Rohr lovers were raising Musa over him after the Tunisia friendly game, Watch and see they will claim to have always backed his return.

@Ugo Iwunze, many thanks to you brother. I dedicate this accolade to we patriotic Nigerians.

        We deserved that kę.

Dessers is a unique striker and he deserves to be in the Super Eagles.

Please Nigerians, this is a rare opportunity for us all. Let’s continue using the power of social media appropriately.

We can see now that Oga Rohr and NFF have no where to hide. This shows that we are doing a great job.

Please let’s avoid using abusive words so that NFF/government will know that we mean the business.

We patriotic Nigerians are here to deliver Nigeria from our traitor leaders/government.

The way we are fighting NFF, let’s fight our government the same way.

Mr. Ugo Iwunze, once again, thank you and keep up the great work.

Hmmm. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

    • Stop lying, will you? Don’t you know internet has a data archives?

Dennis made his international appearance in September 2019 in a friendly match against Ukraine that ended in a 2-2 draw, it was Chukwueze that benched him till he was sub in the 2nd half…liar!
See what Rohr said of Moses way back 2019… “Moses had always acquitted himself well for his country and had announced his retirement too early’. “We have to respect his decision. If he changes his mind we will welcome him back….Liar…It means Moses has always been on Coach Rohr’s radar.
Rohr’s Awoniyi has always been playing and he even played against CAR in Cameroon… Go find another lie.

      • bla bla bla bla bla bla,, The point is when all these guns needed our backing as Nigerians to support their inclusion in Super Eagles and question why they were being over looked even after such stand out season due to their recent hard works and Merited inclusion you all where supporting the corrupted nature of their dubious omissions fooling yourselves and claming your daft coach knows best. after we fought tooth and nail to realise thier inclusion you are now celebrating yet still talking rubbish. why don’t you question why they are included whilst we still have your mediocre gods Musa and co. abeg clear road joor. you are just blind supporter of mediocrity.

Were you not the ones telling me Victor Moses recently said He will never play for Nigeria. When I was always Clamouring and saying NFF have not Humbly asked him to return.

Rohr/NFF : Victor I see you are performing outstnding in your club and Nigeria can really use your services again as a son of our land. We need your quality We need you to consider coming our of Retirement and help your father land.

Moses would have never said NO. Let me tell you air head the only reason NFF made a u-turn of Victor Moses Awoniyi and Dennis is because of us DIE HARD FANS WHO WANT ONLY THE BEST LEGS TO REPRESENT NIGERIA ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE. Shwuuuuoooo. @ Ugo. Na WA ooo. I am not against Rohr and neither have I been for Rohr as a person. I am not even against or for anyone on this forum. I HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE AGAINST OR FOR MATTERS ARISING/SOUND REASONING. MY CONTRIBUTIONS IS NEVER TIED TO PERSONS BUT TO OPINIONS. IF ROHR DOES THE NEEDFUL, THAT IS STICKING TO SELECTION BASED ON PURE MERIT AND OPENESS, AS WELL AS FROWNING AT CORRUPT INDIVIDUALS BEING PART OF HIS GUARD, I WILL ALWAYS STAND STEADFAST WITH HIM. BUT ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY I REFUSE TO SING HIS PRAISE. NEVERTHELESS I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY AND SUPPORT SE AS A TEAM AS WELL AS PRAY FOR THE INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS.

    • pompei 2 years ago

Iwunze, we disagree and argue on several topics.
But when the truth is obvious, we have to acknowledge it. Because ultimately, we wish for the SE to succeed.
No honest person can see a lion, and call it a chihuahua.
After watching Dessers against Tunisia, I saw his potential, and questioned his non-invitation to subsequent matches. Omo9ja too, it must be said, was one of the first forumites to acknowledge Dessers as a talented striker. And quite a few forumites stepped up as well.
To be realistic, Dessers is still a work in progress. But if he is given the opportunity, he could play a vital role for Nigeria in the near future.

  • intro: *@Omo9ja* typo

  • _ Dessers Walking Tall _

    Well done Dessers.

He might yet be a trump card for the Super Eagles at the Afcon in Cameroon.

Players who do well in club football will attract the sort of accolade and acclaim coming the way of Dessers.

It is good to see Dessers reap the harvest of recognition and praise that his hard work, focus, application and crucially perseverance sowed.

There are no two ways about it

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

@tayo don’t mind that @Ugo Iwunze He can use lie to push his idea. He was among the same set of people that said Odion ighalo bribe his way in and that Victor Moses grew in the UK that he is not use to bribe that is why he won’t play for Nigeria. But how about now that he is back? Did he bribed his way in?? You see God will keep vindicating Rohr.. And that is why they call us Rohr ass lickers cos we stand for the just man and fought every scandal they have attached Rohr’s name with.. stay there and be deceiving yourself by taking credit and spoiling a good man’s name when Rohr has been pulling strings to see Victor Moses and denis back in the squad.

  • Benji 2 years ago

Somebody did informed this platform that a certain player will come out of retirement to play along side the striker he made top9. They did played together. He went in to say Rohr will take us to AFCON and that also is happening. He’s the Mr. Objective. Let’s be objective he usually say. I think those issues are there but when are we playing friendlies to prepare the boys for the task ahead?

    • George 2 years ago

  • We have nothing to do with China. Bring Belgium and Germany….

  • Even sometimes when I want to worry about 9JA issues, some comments here will just push me into realms of laughter. Which one is Rohr hallelujah ministers again?.

You must roar when you shout hallelujah now.

  • Shut your stinky mouth you Moronic Deceiver. Ighalo is ur legend not ours. He is not up to the standard or pedegree of a legend rather a pretender who is hiding under the free passes from Iwobi and others to tap in or free penalty to shoot.

A self-acclaimed-legend who couldn’t compete with Anthony Martial or Edinson Cavanni at Man U. Just respect your Monkey self o, Idiot like Drey and co

Ighalo scored 5 inconsequential goals. Wat did Ighalo win for Man U with those menial goals? (Can you compare with KELs IHEANACHO’ FA CUP MEDAL? or Chukwueze’ Europa Cup or Mendy’ Champions League Trophy?)

How many Epl goal and matches did Ighalo make wit Man U. Since he could not untie Anthony Martial’ boot.

Good for you @ Rohr. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO WRITE YOUR NAME IN GOLD, BOLDLY IN THE HISTORY BOOK COS THIS GENERATION OF SE IS DESTINED FOR GOLD. I DREAMT OF IT, HEARD COMMENTARY OF TWO VICTORS ON THE PITCH AND GBAM…ONLY RECENTLY VICTOR MOSES DECIDED TO RETURN. YOU MESS IT UP WITH SKETCHY PLAYERS INVITATION AS WELL AS SURROUNDING YOURSELVES WITH FILTHY HANDS, THEN BE READY TO KISS COACHING GOODBYE.
BE BRAVE TO SAY NO TO THOSE PLAYERS THAT YOUR ENEMIES, WHOM YOU NOW KNOW TO EVEN INCLUDE THE NFF,WILL WANNA FORCE ON YOU. IF THEY COULDN’T SACK YOU NOW,THEY WONT BE ABLE TO SACK YOU IF YOU REFUSE 100% THEIR EXTERNAL INFLUENCE ON PLAYERS SELECTION. I CAN ONLY WISH YOU WELL TO REAP GOODNESS OUT OF YOUR ENDURANCE AND SEEMINGLY GOOD INTENTIONS BUT I STRONGLY WANNA HOPE YOU WISH YOURSELF SAME.

    • Ayphillydegreat 2 years ago

@Glory what are the sketchy invitations?? Maybe we can deliberate more about that. If it’s about Ighalo and Musa please let’s talk about something else.

      • GLORY 2 years ago

Even Rohr himself confessed to being pressured into inviting Musa. That says it all. Rohr encouraging a bribe taker like Sanusi to still be amongst coaching crew can never be tolerated in Germany or France were he to be the coach in those countries. The same zest we used to support Rohr we should use to criticize when certain things seem to tide against his norm. Failing to do so only oozes a smell of deceit. The Rohr that started with SE, I will always wish for but definitely not the recent. This recent Rohr cannot in anyway stop me from supporting my country, I am a fan of SE, and forever remain so . I am a fan of the old Rohr but definitely not the recent. I HATE DOUBLE STANDARD WITH A PASSION REASON I NEVER SUPPORTED LATE KESHI AS A COACH IRRESPECTIVE OF HIM WINNING THE CUP. FOR I KNEW THEN, WINNING THE CUP WAS LIKE COVERING THE BUBBLE THAT WAS GONNA BURST AND THE BUBBLE INDEED FINALLY GOT BUSTED. WE CAN COVER UP CHEATING BUT ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME IT DECEIVES. I JUST HATE SUCH FILTH AND IT HURTS REALLY BAD THAT A ROHR I SUPPORTED SO MUCH IS ALLOWING SUCH AROUND HIM. DISGUSTING.

@omo9ja. Nice one for identifying Glory as one of you. By their seeds you shall know them. You are the second person to do so. After supporting Rohr for many months, even denigrating people like you at times, now he has joined your camp even shamelessly alleging wrongdoing to Rohr without concrete evidence. See life so. This man is old enough to be his father. But be warned, with friends like Glory you dont need enemies. He will be changing goalpost like ashawo changing wrapper. Mtchewww

        • GLORY 2 years ago

@ Igbekun Abo. Kindly tell the house if Salisu was not caught red handed. Kindly tell the house Rohr himself didn’t kick against Musa’s being included
in the team at a time he was clubless. I never supported Rohr simply because he is Rohr but purely because of what he represented at a time, which was pure transparency, honesty and dignity. THAT WAS THE SECRET BEHIND HIS INITIAL SUCCESS. BUT SINCE HE LETS HIS GUARDS DOWN, PERFORMANCES HAS BEEN DROPPING NOT SURPRISINGLY. AND YOU EXPECT ME TO SUPPORT THAT? YOU MUST BE A JOKE TO SAY THE LEAST. ANYONE CAN GO ON SUPPORTING ROHR AS A PERSON BUT NOT ME.I will only support him again when he returns to the Rohr we all used to know. He has every reason to believe n do the right thing now, knowingfully well, no one can sack him if he drops failing players. Because win or lose the AFCON, those criminals at the NFF are still going to try get rid of him,as relationship is already strained. Winning the Cup will make him an expensive commodity in the market and this is his chance, as winning is sure gonna happen by picking the best and nothing but the BEST. Igbekun you must know today yeah, I am a man of myself, don’t come here to join any gang, definitely not interested, anyone thinking I am now joining their group is only living in fools paradise because the next minute I will be a daggers drawn with him. This is the PROBLEM WITH NIGERIA; INSTEAD OF FIGHTING THE NEGATIVE VICES, WE FORMING GANG ON SOME SO CALLED “SACRED” OPINIONS which wittingly put such person’s conscience in prison, in that they become scared to offend. I AM NOT THAT TYPE OF PERSON.
I AM NOT , NEVER LOYAL TO PERSONS BUT ONE ONLY LOYAL TO TRUTH AND SOUND REASONING. ANYONE THAT STAND FOR THIS, I STAND WITH SUCH.

Destar, from your comment, you also believe that their is a chance, no matter how small, that Rohr can win the Afcon and the world cup. So I that makes you a dreamer as well. An involuntary dreamer.
Yes, dreaming is essential in every endeavor of life.
Before Amazon became what is is today, it was a dream in Jeff Bezos’ head.
Before you achieve anything, you need to think and dream about it first.
The Afcon and the world cup are battlefields of dreams. All but one dream will die on the battlefield. Only one dream will be fulfilled at the end.
Every team that qualifies for a competition has a chance of winning it. They are allowed to dream of success, until that dream is ended by another team.
We all watched in shock as South Korea beat bigger footballing nations to emerge in the 2002 world cup semifinal. Germany had to dig deep to beat them. Can you imagine South Korea in a world cup semifinal? Yet, they accomplished that. Anything is possible in football.
If only NFF ONIGBESE will do their part by paying salaries and bonuses, and performing other essential duties!

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FOGIVENESS. WE HAVE FORGIVING SALISU hence we wont stone him to death o jail him. BUT HE HAS LET HIS STANDARD DROP REALLY LOW, SO LOW AS TO BE ACCOMODATED BY THE HIGH STANDARD OUR NATIONAL TEAM/ COACH SHOULD BE ENCOURAGING. WHEN ITS A MATTER OF ROHR CONFESSING TO THE MEDIA THAT MUSA WAS FORCED ON HIM THE MEDIA WILL ALWAYS BE TERMED A LIE BUT WHEN ROHR CONFESSES TO SAME MEDIA THAT HE IS BEEN OWED MONTHS OF SALARY, THE MEDIA IS TELLING THE TRUTH AND WE ALL MUST BELIEVE THAT AND GO ON ATTACKING THE NFF. THIS IS THE DOUBLE STANDARD, I FIND VERY UNACCEPTABLE, DISGUSTING AND DECEITFUL. YOU THINK I GIVE A HOOT ABOUT ANYONE STICKING TO ANY BODY, YOU REALLY DONT KNOW ME. MAYBE YOU READ WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING BECAUSE I HAVE SAID IT REPEATEDLY, I WILL SUPPORT ROHR AS LONG AS HE REMAINS TRANSPARENT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY REFUSED TO BE INFLUENCED.BUT IF HE IS HIDING UNDER THE CRIMINALS WE SUPPORT HIM TO WORK AGAINST , DANCING TO THEIR TUNE, WHY ON EARTH WILL I SUPPORT HIM, WHEN EVERY TRUE FAN IS AGAINST THOSE CRIMINALS.

Please make sense in your reply otherwise I wont bother to answer you. Busy on work assignments. ThatS WHAT puts food on my table and pay my bills. Dont wanna be wasting my time on senseless arguments ever again on this forum. Not worth it especially on days you have got more important things to do and even now realising people morph into other names when thing turn against their sacred opinions and when they want to attack someone they once support or support someone they once attack. Nigerians cant maintain simple honesty as keeping to one sign on name.

Glory i respect you so much but it is crazy arguing with people who are worshiping Rhor like a religion rather than stand for the truth. Anyone can lie to the world but can’t lie to their conscience.I don’t like to comment here because i consider it a waste of time and energy because it won’t make Rhor diehard supporters admit to the truth so as we all can move our football to the next level.Although It is a known fact ,that we all have right to our opinions hence we can’t always be on the same page but it is suicidal to know the truth but choose to adhere to lies because of one’s love or admiration for someone. It is bias for anyone to state that Rhor’s selection of players is devoid of corruption and sentiments. There’s no gainsaying that our best players in Europe are being ignored for some tired and ineffective legs all in the name of experience. This isn’t about inviting individual players that we admire but it is a wake up call that only the best players should be invited to the Super Eagles. And it is obvious , Rhor had been handling Super Eagles affairs on double standards even a blind man can’t deny that fact so i wonder when his supporters come on this forum to give excuses while doing everything possible to backup their lies. Truth be told, you can lie to the world but you can’t lie to yourself or would you guys deny the fact that Super Eagles have been playing badly ?For long i had always emphasized on the Super Eagles playing without pattern. No style of play to portray an identity or philosophy from the Coach (Rhor) and we lose matches when it’s matters most because of his technical ineptitude yet his followers believe he is performing greatly. It is such a pity that we’re our own problems. Mind you these corrupt administrators and their subordinates come on here to read our comments including Rhor. Hence, when we continue to support their corrupt acts ,we shouldn’t expect anything better than what they’re offering at the moment. If we want to deliberate on matters arising in Nigeria,we may be giving ourselves heartache and headache because in this part of the world ,the truth is always swept under the carpet. It would take the grace of God for things to be done properly and fairly in this country.

Glory brotherly, even when we criticise NFF there is ample proof in the public domain to buttress it , so don’t muddy the waters. am i looking for Aphylidegrate or Oakfield to be my friends? No. Everyone knows that they are diehard fans of Rohr who stuck by him even at his lowest ebb. Why do you think think Omo9ja and Ugo are now calling you thier friend? Why aren’t they calling Aphylidegrate or Tayo friends? It is because you are a cheap sell-out. Light will never mingle with darkness so Dr Drey will never mingle with Ugo or Omo9ja.
Listen, don’t take this matter personally, you referenced Sam Allardyce and his bribery scandal. Okay he was sacked by the England FA but did that stop Wes Brom from hiring him last season? Did you hear fans of Wes Brom referencing his bribery episode? No, because they have moved on. That is in the past. Even Wes Brom fans who aren’t Christians can be that forgiven, shouldn’t one expect a higher standard from you, a Christian? Before man and God, I watched an interview where Amaju Pinnick said he forced Musa on Rohr, against Rohr’s wishes. What do you want the poor old man to do? Shebi they say ‘he who pays the piper dictates the tune’. Also this was when you were fully supporting Rohr, during the 2018 World Cup. So what has changed, Brother? If you like, say I change my name, if you like say I can’t read, but one thing is undeniable, you are a lowlife sellout who threw Gernot Rohr under the bus at his most vulnerable time. Team selection, why don’t you criticise Rohr for selecting Iwobi who is a perennial premier league flop? Oh because it is Alexander the great that makes it right. See your double standard eh? Before you used to be in the camp of Drey and Tayo, now you have jump ship at the slightest sign of crisis. Haba, No hard feelings brother, you say I don’t know you, perhaps you should take time to know yourself, BRODAMAN!

      • GLORY 2 years ago

@ Igbekun Abo. You simply shallow minded that struggles to differentiate supporting someone with regards to what he stands for and just supporting that person simply because of his name. So I don’t deal shallow minded person reason I never ever reply to your own comments on topics except when you come on my thread. Because you yourself so moved by jealousy for people making strong opinion, always seek to paint such people black, though you always tend to fail all the time. You only good at filtering into my thread to hide under my light lolzz. I will let you enjoy that light no worries cos I have it in abundance. But trust Me I will not waste a second even reading yours because they never going to make sense as usual. Even Oakfield made a very reasonable suggestion on this forum on discarding of Salisu n other assistance. If you ever read to understand, you would have read in between the lines in Dreys comments that he is not really happy with certain actions of Rohr. His support is in the understanding that he should be allowed to fully see his his mistakes himself m not turning the whole thing into a mess. You only are the one on the site that can put one or two sensible opinion together for others to read and take time out to reply.

        • Igbekun Abo 2 years ago

Actually Glory, I did read Oakfield’s suggestion on revamping the Super Eagles backroom staff simply because, Oakfield believes, they are all a bunch of incompetent assistants who are useless to Rohr. That I can understand. Nowhere did he reference Salisu’s indiscretion. In fact many guys here have criticised Yobo, Alloy Agu and Amakapabo on competency grounds. ONLY YOU WILL PEDDLE BASELESS CONSPIRACY THEORIES AND KEEP GOING BACK TO SALISU’S SCANDAL. Move on brother. Haved you ever sinned before in your life? With man, there is big sin, like bribery, and little sin. But with God, a sin is a sin! A mass murderer and someone that stole 10 kobo will both go to the same hell fire if they don’t repent. So please spare me your preaching that bribery is a huge crime that brings disgrace to the national team. You are a disgrace for peddling conspiracy theories and accusing Rohr of wrongdoing without evidence. One minute you say you will never come to public space and criticise a player, another minute you accuse Rohr of questionable team selection without basis, shame on you brother. You have no credibility whatsoever. You are hot and you are cold. Lukewarm Glory is what you are. Listen, if you make comments without suggesting that you are the upright person, then you are fine by me. But to be so hypocritical and still try to project this high moral ground makes me vomit. You make me sick, really. I am truly sorry for coming across as being pugnacious and I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me but your double standardness stinks. There is something innocent about you but please, state your views but keep your morals to yourself.

        • GLORY 2 years ago

@ Igbekun. I have been observing that everytime I pray for players to be well or be protected or God bless them, it unsettles you. Twice I have done that for Osimene, he recovers and on these two occasions, you come out struggling to paint me black. I pray God bless Iwobi n all DESERVING SE players, you cling your rotten teeth on trees biting and crying same time. Even going as far as morphing into numerous names just to celebrate Iwobi’s trying moments. Are you trying to tell the house something. I won’t be surprised though because there’s always this sense of dirty fetish around you everytime I see your name n your write up. Elevated SOUL SPIRIT SENSE THINGS EVEN FROM AFAR YOU KNOW.That sense of fetish around you, always really disgust me hence I try not to allow myself get into the mix of your dirtiness by staying clear of your own comments.
You must understand that the IWOBI you are doing every fetish thing for him to fail so you can come up here to celebrate has not been found taking or giving bribe. Maybe n just maybe your celebration n glorification of Salisu caught in the act only goes to show clearly to us all, that Iwobi and many other deserving SE PLAYERS may have refused given you money(bribe) to sing their praise, hence you have vowed to go fetish on their life, so as to ridicule them on public platforms. They may have refused to wet your palms with another cheap £500 to come tell the world on public forum you’ve hit a jackpot of £500. Hungry man; no surprise every of your comment is foist on anger/pain.
BUT LET ME WARN YOU DIRTY FETISH PRIMARY 3, SOMETIMES THE ELEMENTS ALLOW THE EVIL ONES THINK THEY ARE WINNING, JUST SO THEY WILL END UP DESTROYING THEMSELVES. REMEMBER HOW JEHOVAH GOD ALLOWED KING PHAROAH OF EGYPT DESTROY HIMSELF? BE WARNED BROTHER MAN. THIS MIGHT JUST BE YOUR LAST WARNING. GOD BLESS ALEXANDER IWOBI THE KING, GOD BLESS KING KONG EKONG, GOD BLESS AIRSIMEN OSIMENEGOALS, GOD BLESS ALL DESERVING SE PLAYERS, GOD BLESS NIGERIA.AWUUUUUUURRAAAAA.

    NFF is a joke!

    • Golden Child 2 years ago

The challenge in Africa is that we are sentimental in our decisions. It is this sentiment that beclouds our judgement most times (explains our choice of leaders). We are never guided by meritocracy. It is as clear as day light that there are more deserving strikers in the team yet ighalo is called. Let me state here that ighalo is a national hero and his exploits at the last afcon speaks for itself but there are better strikers than him at the moment. Just look at any top football playing nation, do you see a player plying his trade in Saudi Arabian leagues? England, France, Germany, Spain? Yet some think that we would we run through all opponents. Or would germany field a clubless player in a competitive game?

  • Golden Child 2 years ago

These are some of the things coach rohr did wrong and I do not think he will change any time soon. I was a staunch supporter of rohr but my support for him started to evaporate since the last afcon( brand of unattractive football) Between Amaju Pinnick and Rohr, they would go down in history as masterminding and overseeing the greatest waste of talents since the history of our football. The depth of talent is unprecedented. Not even the usa 94 team had this depth. With a good manager , the super eagles can ruffle a lot of feathers even at the world cup.

  • Garre 2 years ago

@Golden Child, you’ve written so well my brother but there are people here that think reverse is the case . May God help us all because it is becoming unbearable watching these corrupt politicians at the NFF glass house destroy our darling football. It is sickening that we are still stuck in the same circle of corruption. We can produce a world beater football team if only NFF could be upright with their dealings on football matters in our country. We can only win the World Cup if our grassroots football is taken care of with lots of long term developmental programs and also our local clubs are task also with the responsibility to develop working and effective football academies. And the welfare of players are being properly taken care of. I bet we can produce another jay jay okocha and Kanu if the right infrastructures are put in place but corruption wouldn’t let them do what’s right and expected of them.

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

@GLORY you talked about Rohr saying he was pressurize to invite Musa. Can you come up with a proof or something to back that scandalous allegation?

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

Okay thank you so so much @OlaH But please everyone should take note of these statement.

“Again, in the last qualifiers, the coach decided he’s not going to call Ahmed Musa, because he wasn’t not playing, but I said there are some players who are national team players, while some are for club and I told him, for the first time I’m going to impose player on you.”

You see I have I always emphasis on this but some of you will not understand. But it is well

    • You’re welcome. I agree with you on national team players but based on recent national team stats I’m not sure if Musa is one.

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

PN: “There are some players who are national team players”.

In essence some players are built/destine to shine under national team jersey.

  • Ur are a very big fool,u are a man of the past,, as it stands nigerian first three strikers are dennis awoniyi and dessers. Olodo

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

Okay. But you know Generally the team has not really hit that point we all want.. I won’t lie even though I come here everyday to knack my head on rohr issue.. But don’t worry We will see about that..Afcon is just 2moro… And expecially now that Victor Moses and Ighalo is here. They did in 2019 remember. So the chemistry should still be there.

  • Igbekun Abo 2 years ago

Lolzzzz, @Glory I knew sooner or later your real nature would come out. Go back and revisit everything you wrote about me up there and tell me you are not ashamed of yourself. If not, many people here will be ashamed of you. I bring out cogent arguments based on sound reasoning and irrefutable logic and what do you resort to, fetishism. Accusing me of indulging in fetishism. Does it suprise me? Severally you have referred to others as ‘evil agents with evil intentions’. In fact it is very well documented that when faced with superior arguments that stretches your capacity to comprehend, you resort to wild speculations, baseless allegations and unfounded conclusions. I am not the first victim of your limited mental capacity nor will I be the last.
On Iwobi, you once said Everton coaches do not like him, then you said the players do not pass to him, then the Everton fans do not like him now the English Premer League is not good for him. Any contributors on this platform who criticises him want to bring Raymond Azeez to replace him in the national team.
    You are bonkers, my friend.
Listen, the fact remains that you supported Gernot Rohr in the good times and you stabbed the poor old man in the back when the going got tough which makes you a lowlife bum! Always talking with 2 sides of your mouth and always switching sides like the Nigerian politicians of the 60s who move from party to party. You stand for nothing. You have flaky principles and you are lukewarm which is why I call you out when I can’t stand your nonsense and hypocrisy anymore, fool.
Accusing me of jazz and fetishism through the pages on an online platform, is that how stupid you are? What has fetishism got to do with anything other than your warped sense of imagination.
Brodaman, no hard feelings. I think you have a kind heart but you are just misguided.

  • Igbekun Abo 2 years ago

@Monkey Post help me ask @Glory o! Rohr was saying the truth because Amaju himself said he pressured Rohr to invite Musa. In fact after Rohr signed his new contract, it was stated that the NFF would have greater say in his player invitations so what is the big deal. Very soon Glory will start attacking you as well that you are involved in fetishism. Lolzzzz
