Stuttgart defender Maximilian Mittlestadt has warned his teammates to be cautious of Victor Osimhen ahead of their UEFA Champions League encounter against Galatasaray tonight.
The Bundesliga side will travel to RAMS Park for their Matchday Four fixture against the Turkish Super Lig champions, who will be counting on Osimhen to lead their attack.
The Nigerian striker has been in impressive form, scoring in each of his last three appearances for Galatasaray.
Mittlestadt Warns Teammates Of Osimhen’s Threat
Speaking to reporters ahead of the encounter, Mittlestadt acknowledged Osimhen’s quality and highlighted the attacking threat posed by the Istanbul-based club.
“We prepared specifically for Galatasaray. We know their defence is very good, and we also know they have extraordinary attacking players. Osimhen is very dangerous. He has shown that he is one of the best strikers in recent years. There are other stars in the team as well,” he said.

Stuttgart Ready For Istanbul Showdown
The left-back however, insisted that his team are well prepared for the challenge and believe they have what it takes to trouble Galatasaray.
“Nevertheless, we prepared well. We know what awaits us and what we need to show. I believe we are well prepared,” he added.
“Considering what Galatasaray have achieved in recent years and their success in the Champions League, we certainly do not underestimate them. They may be considered favourites, but we believe we can hurt Galatasaray.
“We are strong too. We have shown that we can beat top-level teams like Galatasaray.”
Stuttgart head into the encounter sitting sixth in the overall Champions League standings with seven points, while Galatasaray occupy 23rd position with three points.
