Ejuke that wanted to take the entire Tunisian defence on a dancing lesson because he knew he had a very short time to impress the Super Eagles coaches

Keep up the good club performance for the next Super Eagles’ invitation

  • Ikeben 4 years ago

Well done Ejuke, our boys are not smiling this weekend, everyone is sending the right message to the coach even the over looked ones

Victor Osimen, Ejuke, Simmy, Maja, Lookman and even Onuahu all banging goals this weekend.

    While, Moses,Sanusi providing assists.
Other outstanding performers coming from Iwobi, Ekong,Akoguma.

And our own Aribo coming back from injury.

Well done guys, I know our next match, will show that the team is on course.

  • Greenturf 4 years ago

I was impressed by this lads cameo against the Tunisians. He swayed Nigerians as well the coaching crews with that crazy mazy dribbles,It was a lively performance!he indeed stole the show.

Meanwhile, what I like so much about Ejuke is,aside his technical abilities,he also adds goalscoring to his game.He should be considered to start games for the super eagles if the regular wingers don’t show improvement from their shoddy performances at the last international break.

    • Well @Greenturf the sad truth is that if the Likes of @Dr Drey and co. keep making the Coach feel that he is doing right by inviting the likes of Ahmed Musa continuously who have proved and shown what they can do. Players with serious potential like Ademola Lookman and Chidera Ejuke will be overlooked. I hope you can see why We get upset with the continuous inviting of Dead weight to the team when we are blessed with a lot more younger, exciting and Most importantly deserving players

      • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

The dead weight that was invited to the team was the only player to earn an assist and earn a penalty during the last friendly window when all your x-factor overrated youngsters were bereft of ideas and flopping disgracefully. If that game was his debut, that dead wood player would have earned himself a recall for the next game ahead of your x-factor disappointments. I don’t know how sensible and possible it is to invite Lookman when he isn’t even eligible to play for Nigeria yet. Yet they will call the coach ‘dumb’

      • @Dr Drey Wow peson wey sabi ball LOLZZ. So Mr Star boy was a disappointment? being the most dangerous player on the field for Napoli on Saturday???? I asked you once can Ahmed Musa make the the Bench of Napoli. Be careful what you answer because the wrong answer will expose your poor football knowledge again.

What about Leicester City Receiving a 1-0 loss to Aston villa yesterday? as it is clearly documented when Wilfred Ndidi is missing Leicester City Struggle. Bros go and Sit down infact @JimmyBall is right my friend CSN Should just Ban you from commenting because your pieces are doing more damage than good IMHO

        • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Hahahahaha….what are we saying, what is he saying…? did you see Osimhen on the pitch for the super eagles during the friendly window…LMAO? Or who is comparing Musa to Osimhen here…? When we tell them to quit excessive consumption of alcohol they wont listen. LMAO. Onyekuru, Chukwueze and Kalu are no more your ex-factor players that should displace Musa anymore, it is now Ndidi and Osimhen….LMAO. The last time Onyekuru gave an assist in Monaco, you can here ranting that Musa cannot give that type of assist….did you see the one he gave nacho vs tunisia…?LMAO can any of them give that type of assist…? LMAO.

CSN will ban you 10 times before contemplating banning me. Because you are one of the uninformed ignoramuses on this forum who come here to disturb our ears with you stark ignorance.

  • MY MAN!!!!
    THE BOY IS GOOD!!!!
    ANYONE CAN SEE THAT.
I SAY LET EJUKE PLAY ON THE LEFT WING AND MOVE KALU TO THE RIGHT (BENCH CHUKWUEZE). KALU CAN BE VERY EFFECTIVE PLAYING FROM THE RIGHT, WATCH HIS GENT VIDEOS.
NOW, WITH EJUKE ON THE THE LEFT HE CAN DO HIS THING ON THE RIGHT. IWOBI WILL THE PLAY BEHIND OSIMHEN, WITH NDIDI (AJAYI) & ARIBO IN THE HOLDING MF POSITION.
BACK FOUR CAN BE ZAIDU, LEON, AKPOGUMA, TYRONE/AWAZIEM/AINA.
    GK OKOYE
JUST MAKING MY SUGGESTION FOR THR QUALIFIERS AGAINST SIERRA LEONE

    • @Sportsfan nice line up.. I only disgree with drpping Chukwueze for Kalu.. sorry bros Chukwueze is younger and has more potential than Kalu and he is playing in a much more tougher league for a club with bigger aspirations and a Stronger line up and competition for places in that team, so the fact that he has played every game under Unai emeri and we all now how quick Unai can drop players who are not inform just Ask alex iwobi. for this facts Sammy Chukwueze can’t be dropped for Sammy Kalu.

I will also like Rohr and NFF to Rush to england in the coming week or two amd put more work on Ademola Lookman and Eze. at least if not EZE but lookman has now become a HUGE priority after yester day. I see star dust on this boy like I always say X-Factor player lookman is one of them we will gauge properly after 2 or so more games

    • Greenturf 4 years ago

@Sportsfan Ndidi is not available for the playoffs next month due to injury.

An Etebo,Aribo and Iwobi’s midfield should be good enough for the task ahead.I think we should be just fine against Sierra Leone.I expect the super eagles to see off their opponent next month.

      • Edoguy 4 years ago

Aribo doesnt defend, Etebo doesnt defend. I think its gonna be Semi Ajayi in midfield, Etebo/Aribo and Iwobi.

Its funny that Rohr cannot find a good substitute for Ndidi and Osimhen.

        • @Edoguy…that was the combination Against Ukraine. Etebo-Aribo and Iwobi and it was when Rohr tampered with it that they equalized us.

          • Edoguy 4 years ago

That was because Etebo sat deep. Etebo doesn’t always like to seat deep in the midfield. It was when Anderson Esiti came in, he decided to move further up the pitch.

            Aribo doesnt defend well

  • Enwerem George 4 years ago

I want the coach to listen to me. Our problem is going to a tournament without having good substitutes. In our midfield,we have only Ndidi,Aribo and Iwobi and the three in midfield can stand against any team. But, who can step in their shoes in the time of injury? With all due respect for Etebo, mordern day football needs a flexible and aggressive player. Is not just about someone who can fight and play African football. At the end, there will be no win or goal to show. Also, with all due respect for Semi Ajayi,he is better as a center back and not as a midfielder. He shouldn’t be playing as a midfielder if we must hold ball at least for 2minutes.You see in the game against Tunisia,we couldn’t press our opponent. So midfield matters a lot in the game.So I recommend that Rohr should scout for other three players who can give those aforementioned player a good fight for a starting lineup. Also Rohr must have another good striker who can step in Victor Osimhen’s shoe when he is not there. If it is Iheanacho, then he brings him in. It’s not every time he will be trying someone else that lacks what it takes to deliver the goal in the national team.National team football is different from club football. You can see an old men playing in their clubs and scoring goals but they can’t do that when they play in the national side.National team needs quality, flexible and aggressive players.Anything less than that will make your team boring to watch. The kind of players you choose will determine how the country will be seen and how it’s people will be regarded.Give us good players in all positions. And also, have good reserves in all positions.By so doing,Nigeria will do well in 2022 FIFA World Cup.

the reason why the coach still invite fading players cause by NNF Oga them, abeg help me tell Nigeria football association to allow this coach to select his players, make them stop imposing players on him, Oyibo no dey take bribe like Africans do

  • GLORY 4 years ago

Just thinking of this boy Ejuke, the Wazza dazzler chuzzy, Ademola Lookman, and Samuel Kalu, gets me high, high and high. Judging Chuzzy and Kalu by those two friendly games is totally wide off the mark. These foursome are real quality, take it or leave it. If we say Kalu n Chuzzy are not playing to their true capabilities, I will agree but will totally disagree with anyone trying to write them off as not good enough. Seems people making such conclusion about both players, have only just started following the Nigeria team set up. Right from the 80s, most of our SE eagles ala the players always seem to struggle before the main tournament. It’s always at the tournament proper, you start to see how good quality these players are. I bet anyone to MARK MY WORDS. Anyone of these foursome mentioned above will become a household name while featuring at the world cup tournament, with the hope that we qualify. Again like Ewenrem mentioned above, we truly need aggressive, rugged players ooo. Softy no go see road for African football po. For World Cup yes but we must understand that we go first cross ” AFRICAN BRIDGE” before we show for world cup stage. Those red eyes Cameroonians, Senegalese, Ivoriams, Cape Verdians, etc, no wanna know wetin dem dey call Mr nice guy football, na leather/leg, dem dey kick oo. E go better say, we start to drum this truth to all our players ears because we can’t afford to miss any major tournaments with this huge reservoir of talents we have at the moment. Yobo must play a big role here by constantly psyching up the players in this regard.

It is obvious that the SE is blessed with options in all positions. However, overhyping average players who are still struggling in their clubsides or players who have underperformed is a major bane of progress in SE. In addition, overhyping GR as someone who has done unique or making him feel perfect is not right.
Truth be told, CS reporters are not helping the call for progress either, Teresa Moffi and Maja scored in the weekend and no report of their achievement on CS. They have continued to ignore upcoming players in top leagues. The last time they filled their front pages with report of a player in the division two of an unknown league.
Current wingers of SE are getting overhyped and made to believe that they are the best option. Giving the same opportunity and playing time Ejuke and Lookman could be a more prolific option than Chukzy, Simon and Kalu. Victor Moses is still needed in the team.
The goalkeeping dept is bubbling (Uzoho, Okoye) and it is my hope that other goalkeepers like Mathew, Dele, Osigwe, Lawal are given playing opportunities.
The defence is getting stacked with active and talented players playing in top divisions (Balo, Akpo, Aina, Ebuehi, Zaidu, *Adarabioyo, *Udhokhai, )
The midfield is blessed with natural and talented MF playing in top teams or top leagues (Ndidi, Iwobi, Aribo, Azeez, and Etebo) Regular oungsters like Ejaria, Tijani, Olise and Onyeka can be integrated gradually
The attacking position is saturated with options, if we consider active players playing in top clubs /top leagues Ejike, Lookman, Chukzy, Simon, Kalu, and Southampton’s Tella).
For the striking positions, Aside Osi-9 and Nacho, the playing styles of active players in top leagues “Maja, and Moffi” are well suited for SE..
In addition, players like V.Moses, Musa, Abdullah and Ekong can not be ignored.

With the right approach and tactics, SE can be the best in Africa and compete with the best in the world.

Ejuke, ebeano player. Na em dey reign. The guy enter field, begin dribble Tunisians up and down like small pikin! What he now needs to add to his lovely game is END PRODUCT. Goals and assists aplenty. When he does that, the big clubs will dobale in front of his house. Who no like better thing?
Somebody called him AFRICAN NEYMAR the other day. With end product and hard work, this guy can definitely be as good as, maybe even better than Neymar. I remember once saying right here on this forum when he was playing his football in Holland, that I was afraid the Dutch might try to steal him, because to me he looked better than their golden boy, Memphis Depay! O yes, I said that.
Ejuke is definitely a valuable addition to the squad. He needs to keep working hard though. He has some tough competition in guys like Kalu, Samu, and the incoming Lookman. Talking about Lookman, we better move quickly on him, because I’m hearing Northgate is looking at him after his incredible Fulham displays of late.
Let’s try to get Lookman, Michael Olise and other deserving guys into the squad asap.
Happy to have Ejuke in already. EBEANO!

  • Im not saying that chukwueze be dropped, im saying he should be benched. He is a very exciting and explosive player and can take on any team on his day. But his days dont come too often. Dribbling and shading players are what makes the game sweet and fun, but scoring goals is what win games. Chukwueze doesn’t score enough goals for a player of his talents and this puts much pressure on the attackers because they shoulder much of the goal scoring responsibilities. We need goal scoring wingers in the team and that’s what ejuke is, he scores goals! From the wings. So its either he improves his game and starts scoring more or someone else takes his place.

  • I believe there is only one player currently in the Super Eagles that the coach doesn’t have a substitute or replacement for. Can anyone guess who that is ?
