Juan Iglesias scored a late header to give Sevilla a hard-fought 1-0 win over Valencia at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, in Friday’s La Liga clash.
Nigeria international Chidera Ejuke featured in the encounter as he came on in the 63rd minute for his fifth league appearance this season.
Prior to the clash with Valencia, who were without the injured Umar Sadiq, Sevilla had lost one and drawn one of the last two matches.

After a feisty contest, the only goal arrived in the 81st minute as Giorgi Kochorashvili swung in a free-kick from a wide position and Iglesias got across his marker and powered a firm header past Stole Dimitrievski.
The win means Sevilla move to 10 points from five games (three wins, one draw, one loss) and currently occupy the third spot in the league table.
As for Valencia, their early-season struggles continue under and would hope to bounce back from the setback against Sevilla.
