The first-legs of the first preliminary rounds is scheduled for 27th to 29th November 2020.

The reverse fixtures will hold between 4th to 6th December 2020.

Ten clubs already have a bye into the second preliminary rounds of the competition.

The clubs are Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Zamalek, W.A.C. and Raja from Morocco and Esperance of Tunisia.

Others are T.P. Mazembe and AS Vita Club of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea’s Horoya A.C., Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa and Angola’s Agosto.

Enyimba are the only Nigerian club who have won the CAF Champions League.

The Aba-based club first won the trophy in 2003, beating Ismaili of Egypt 2-1 on aggregate.

In 2004, they defended the title following a 5-3 penalty shootout win against Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia after both legs of the final ended 3-3 on aggregate.

The last Nigerian club to play in the final was Heartland in 2009 where they lost to T.P. Mazembe on away goals rule.
