EPL: Elliot Scores Screamer In Liverpool, Tottenham’s Six-Goal Thriller

Harvey Elliot netted a screamer as Liverpool defeated Tottenham 4-2 in Sunday’s Premier League game at Anfield.

The Reds midfielder added to Spurs’ misery with a stunning strike during Sunday’s Premier League fixture. Elliott picked the ball up from Mohamed Salah, who netted the opener at Anfield, on the edge of the Tottenham box.

The home team went 2-0 up in the 45th after Salah’s shot was saved by Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and Andy Robertson converted from the rebound.

Gakpo scored Liverpool’s third goal five minutes after the break when heading low at the far post following Harvey Elliott’s curling left-foot cross.

Postecoglou sent on Richarlison in the hope of salvaging something and the Brazil international quickly made an impact by turning home Brennan Johnson’s cross in the 72nd.

He then turned provider to tee up Son Heung-min to fire in from close range five minutes later.

    Chelsea vs West Ham.
What a game. Moyes don collect again ooo. 5 kondo.
What I particularly enjoyed today was the collabo between Jackson and Noni Madueke. 2 players who almost fought each other over who will take a penalty kick just a couple of weeks ago, now cooperating with each other freely. Madueke even gifted Jackson an OPEN NET tap in. He could have gone for goal himself, but decided to slide it in to his new BFF Jackson, who swept it home gleefully.
They obviously have patched things up between themselves. Kudos to the manager Poch. He must have had something to do with that.
And they were asking for Poch’s sack last week. Poch has responded with a couple of big wins. Loool, critics silenced emphatically.
Talking about players to invite for our upcoming WCQ, I keep mentioning names like Ebere Eze, Michael Olise, Elijah Adebayo, Gift Orban and Noni Madueke. Orban and Adebayo are already there for the taking. Finidi and NFF should now call these other guys. Let them know the door is open. The worst that can happen is they say NO, and if that happens, we move on to others.
