The Cottagers, under new manager Alvaro Arbeloa, have lost both of their Premier League matches so far.
The first half lacked quality, with both sides guilty of wasting good positions with poor final passes or lack of composure in front of goal.
Fulham had their moments, including an effort from Josh King after he was found by Alex Iwobi, but that was about as close as either side came to producing any meaningful action.

However, it was substitute Wilson Isidor who netted the only goal of the game in the 75th minute to secure the three maximum points for Sunderland.
Fulham put in a disappointing performance and could not break through an organized and hard-working Sunderland defence, failing to produce a shot on target.

Nice game. Sunderland got the win. Deserved win. Congrats to them.
What the heck is going on at Spurs?
After spending over £ 370 million to buy players, you end up bottom of the league after 2 games?
The biggest deals include:
Sandro Tonali — £100m from Newcastle
Mateus Fernandes — £85m from West Ham
Sávio — £75m from Manchester City
Jan Paul van Hecke — £52m from Brighton
Omar Marmoush — £50m obligation to buy, potentially £60m with add-ons
Tettenhem het spehs! Eeeeh EEEH! Charleh, Charleh, Charleeeeeeeh!
This is not good EEEH!
Coach De Zerbi abi wetin be your name. You are playing with your job.
Het Speh is not a small club. A club like Spehs can not, I repeat, can not be bottom of the league at any time. It’s totally unacceptable! Ridiculous!!!
De Zerbi!!!
With all these players and resources provided, you’re bottom of the league?
Abi are you working with Gusau? Is Eguavoen there with you? If yes, chase them away immediately.
You are a good coach, based on your past. It’s time for you now to step up to this challenge. By hook or by crook, you have to drag HET SPEH back up the league table!!!
