West Ham United could not be preparing for a tougher test on Sunday, with Arsenal making the trip to the London Stadium.
The Premier League leaders arrive in fine form amid what has been a dismal week for the Hammers.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side dropped back into the bottom three on Sunday, with their 3-0 loss at Brentford followed up by a Tottenham win at Aston Villa.
As a result, the Irons go into their final three outings knowing that their destiny is in the hands of others.
And as they face the league leaders, Opta’s supercomputer predicts that things aren’t set to turn around just yet.
Concerningly, the Hammers have lost their last two against the Gunners at home by an aggregate scoreline of 13-2.
They have caused problems for a title-chasing Arsenal before, though, having held them to a 2-2 draw back in 2023 – Opta’s supercomputer cannot see that happening this time, though, according to westhamzone.com.
Naturally given the difference between the pair, the Hammers go in as underdogs.
Though, seeing the numbers put down will have Nuno wincing as he moves into the final rounds of the season.

With the league title on the line in the coming weeks, Arsenal have been handed a 58.1 per cent chance of taking all three points, while the chances of a draw are predicted to be higher than that of a West Ham win – sitting at just 19.3 per cent.
And with this in mind, the Irons are in need of a helping hand from Leeds United – a hand that they might not get.
At the crucial stage of the season, West Ham are dropping out of form, just as others around them are beginning to hit their stride.
With Leeds and Nottingham Forest pulling away since returning from the international break, the Hammers have been left battling with Spurs, but even they have been able to turn things around under Roberto De Zerbi.
