“Elsewhere, manager Roy Hodgson has been boosted by Peter Etebo’s return to full training this week, with the 26-year-old having stepped up his recovery from a quad injury sustained against Newcastle United in September,”reads a statement on the club’s website.

The 26-year-old is loan at the Vicarage Road from Sky Bet Championsip club Stoke City.

The former CD Feirense of Portugal player has made six league appearances for the Potters this season.

His return to action will help boost Watford’s chances of surviving the drop this season.

He was in that team that robbed Ghana a place at the Olympics. He knows and has the temperament to win. Happy recovery

  • GREAT NEWS! Dont know if he will be fit enough to play against ghana but if he is it will be a big plus for the Super Eagles. With etebo and ndidi in the centre, then aribo can move forward and play closer to the attackers as a number 10.
