Niger Tornadoes technical adviser Kabiru Dogo has blamed his side’s poor finishing for their 1-0 defeat to Katsina United in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The Ikon Allah Boys suffered their second defeat of the season in a matchday four encounter at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Saturday.
Abdulrahman Garba scored the decisive goal in the 21st minute to hand Katsina United all three points.
Dogo Rues Away Defeat
Speaking after the game, Dogo rued his team’s inability to convert their scoring opportunities and called for improvement in front of goal.

“This is what happens in football when you don’t take your chances,” Dogo told the club’s media.
“They got their chance and utilised it, but we had even clearer opportunities and couldn’t convert any of them.
“Sometimes, you can attribute this to ill luck, but we need to improve, particularly in terms of taking our chances.
“Overall, it was a very good game from both sides.”
The defeat leaves Niger Tornadoes 10th on the NPFL table with four points from four matches.
