Sporting Lagos head coach Jeffrey Buter is targeting maximum points when his side hosts Abia Warriors in their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday four clash.
The Noisy Lagosians will welcome Imama Amapakabo’s men to the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, on Sunday.
Buter’s side head into the encounter in confident mood following their victory over city rivals Inter Lagos in their previous outing.
Buter In Buoyant Mood
The Sporting Lagos boss believes the derby win will provide his players with a much-needed confidence boost ahead of Sunday’s fixture.

“We have had a week of rest and training, and the boys look ready. We have put the success of our last game behind us,” Buter said in a pre-match interview.
“We look forward to Sunday, as we have had a good week of preparation.
“The win over Inter Lagos was important because we didn’t want to go two games without a win. It will also help us build momentum ahead of the Abia Warriors clash and beyond.”
Buter will now hope his players can build on the derby success and secure all three points against the visitors.
