I am not sure he can do that 1 week to the match. Putting Onazi on standby is a major goof by the gaffer. 2nd division in Saudi for goodness sake! To add salt to injury, there is a match rusty Etebo on the bench also, God help us.

These are some mistakes Rohr would never make, he better hope that onazi, etebo and onyeka rise to the occasion because not only will this be damaging for him but to the chances of employing local coaches in future.

He is still waiting on a catching a train to Holland to go and watch him mumu man. Eguavoen will easily pass for the Nigerian coach with most unguided, unguarded, and uncoordinated statements. He said he never watched Dessers, so he watches Onazi in Saudi second division? Oor he watches Amoo on Denmark TV or Swedish TV? “I already know my first Eleven” bam injuries to key players what now? Iwobi has a red card…..Now that 3 of his probable first eleven might be out what is the talkative going to say….With every statement the man falls his own hand….Please watch the video call from Buhari b4 the round of 16 match….The man stood there like a servant. Head looking like he was almost bowing with his 2 front arms like a servant tou could tell some players behind him were trying hard not to laugh..No telling that he is yes boy and is Amaju’s stooge hence the talk about pacifying interests lol…….If any coach in any organized country say that crap, he will be fired asap…. You are toying with the games people can lose their lives on for talking about pacifying some individuals. I expect more from a technical director…..Just qualify us for the WC or else You and Amaju go feel am.

  • At the 2022 World Cup in South Korea /Japan,a certain coach Festus Adegboyega Onigbinde did not get up from the bench to talk to the Super Eagles players when occasion demanded for it,even when we were losing and desperately needed some pep talk from the technical crew, his reason- as a “chief ” in Nigeria ,he is not expected to stand up. In fact he should sit down so that the world will know about his traditional title.
Fast forward to 2022,our own coach “Cerezo”despite all his exposure ,playing in many European countries and at the World Cup,is busy telling us that he cannot invite Cyriel Dessers because he has not watched him play at his club in the Netherlands. So all the communication channels available in this computer age cannot be utilized? What about video clips and live coverages of these games abroad? So you must watch a player physically before inviting him to the national team? Did he go to Saudi Arabia to watch their second-tier league where Ogenyi Onazi plays before putting him on standby? Did he go to Cyprus to watch Abdullahi Shehu? Did he go to South Africa to watch Daniel Akpeyi? Haba! These things can only happen in our clime!

There is no doubt that this guy is a confirmed goal scorer. The consistency at which he scores, it would interesting to see his goal per match ratio. It must be right up there. Cerezo is just attempting to be smart with that excuse that he has not seen him play live, he can easily do that with a scout. This is 2022 for goodness sake! Must you see a player in the flesh before inviting him? Like others have alluded, did he see amoo live before inviting him. Anyhow he has promised to use the next friendly to try out new players, perhaps Dessers would get his chance.

  • Nigeria’s are so funny, This guy deserves a look in that Guy deserves a look in then they will turn around and say Musa MUST be there he is important to our cause as cheerleader for SE taking up space so to Ighalo. My question to those Hypocritical Nigerians is, how will Dessers and Ejuke get a look in when Their space in the team is occupied by finished players??.. Lol!! Wonders indeed shall never end.

Brazil, Argentina, and other reasonable countries invite players according to your form and performances but here in Nigeria we invite players based on he is from my village or my boy from unde17. If you don’t any connection in NFF. They will not invite you. Sometimes I ask why black man life is different from white man! Both educated and noneducated are bunch of ewu.

    Not a typical Dessers goal.
Someone took a shot from about 25 yards, and it deflected off Dessers’ shoulder into the net.
Anyway, a goal is a goal. If you use your buttocks to score 20 goals, you will win the golden boot in most leagues!
