‘He Is An Important Weapon For Us’- Galatasaray Boss Terim In Awe Of Onyekuru’s Quality

Galatasaray manager Fathi Terim has heaped plaudits on Henry Onyekuru and described the Nigerian “an important weapon” after the striker bagged a brace in the club’s 2-1 win against Gaziantep on Friday, reports Completesports.com.

Onyekuru rose from the bench to inspire the visitors to a hard-fought victory at the Gaziantep Stadyumu in what was his first match since joining Galatasaray on loan from Monaco this week.

The 23-year-old opened scoring in the 51st minute and got the second 12 minutes from time.

“We had to play Onyekuru. I said the game could bring us to that point. We all know Onyekuru. Maybe he does not have a voice in the teams he goes to in Europe, but he does what is necessary with us, “Terim told the club website.

” He seems to be happy with us. Not ready yet. He will be more ready every day. I insisted on that. Last year, he did not play in Trabzon and Alanya in three days.

“My insistence on Onyekuru is very clear and clear. Until now, it has always shown that it is an important weapon for us with its effectiveness in the game. It will continue to show. That is why I insisted on taking it earlier. I wish we could have bought him earlier and played him in some matches. ” .

Onyekuru is a ‘Turkey-level player’ sad but true…..can’t play in a higher level

  • Turkey is ur goodluck charm. Two goals already and u haven’t played a full game yet. Ahhhh, monaco shouldn’t fax ur contract to gala right now and allow you enjoy your football once again.

You have nothing to prove to anyone Onyekuru.

No Matter how they try, God will fight your battle.

This is Onyekuru that our national team coach couldn’t give a chance to excel at Afcon tournament.

He seen no qualities in this Onyekuru but today ‘He Is An Important Weapon For Us’- Galatasaray Boss Terim In Awe Of Onyekuru’s Quality.

All I am asking Onyekuru is to keep is head up and prove his worth to Oga Rohr and his fans period.

I am very delighted seeing my lovely Onyekuru in this great mood.

Onyekuru and Onuachu have a point to prove to Oga Rohr and his followers.

“He Is An Important Weapon” that alone should be an indication that the managers of the Nigerian national team are not capable of moving Super Eagles forward.

When its comes to football, he, Oga Rohr and his fans still have a lot to learn.

For Onyekuru’s coach saying this means we should limit our expectations and be very cautious about Mr. Rohr and his fans.

You can say whatever you like and keep all the excuses coming no wahala but I’m expecting Lookman and co to join Eagles and see if Eagles will fly higher like never before.

Ah, Onyekuru, what a classy player he is but unfortunately Super Eagles coach do not know his value. Congratulations to you Onyekuru. It is well. God bless Nigeria!!!

You are very correct…its is even Rohr too that sat him on the bench at Monaco. The 3 (or 4) coaches he played under at monaco are also senseless and need a lot to learn….the 4 of them are so blind that they dont know his value. Onyekuru is the most important weapon in the SE….no other player can give one-third of what he has to offer…….your classy player came on vs Algeria in the semis and we became short of 1 man and Algeria regained momentum….mostly from his wing. Ahmed Musa laid a fine pass to him in the last 10 mins of the game for what should have been the winner and a place in the final (a potentinally a chance to win the trophy) and he blasted the ball to the stadium’s car park with only the keeper to beat. He is indeed a classy player, cant you see his name in the shortlist of AFOTY…?? Yeye dey smell.

Oga Omo9ja pls take it easy on Coach Rohr. I nor even know wetin concern Rohr for this matta.

It seems you are not seeing what others are seeing. Onyekuru needs to be consistent with his performance week in week out. Nor be to score 2 goals for one match then disappear for ten matches.

Abeg try not to dey mention Rohr name anyhow for any matter.
