Arsenal are ready to make a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha and will bid £40million for him this summer, reports have claimed. Gunners boss Unai Emery is keen to bolster his squad during the close season, but will have to wheel and deal to do so, as money is said to be tight at the Emirates Stadium.

Emery could help fund a deal by trimming his Gunners squad, while it has also been suggested one of Callum Chambers, Carl Jenkinson or Reiss Nelson could be offered in part-exchange for Zaha.
Palace are keen to keep hold but face a battle to do so this summer as Arsenal are not the only club said to be weighing up a move for the talented forward. Arch rivals Tottenham, along with Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be in the hunt.
If Palace do sell, reports have claimed they could be looking for as much as £80million, which is likely to completely rule Arsenal out of the running and force Emery to look elsewhere for a new forward.
