‘Happy To Start New Adventure With Ponferradina’ —Nwakali

Kelechi Nwakali has expressed his delight after joining Spanish second division club Ponferradina.

After having his contract terminated by Huesca, Nwakali will now continue his football career with second-tier club.

And commenting on his latest move, Nwakali wrote on his Twitter handle:“Happy to start a new adventure with Ponferradina. Let’s get to work!“

Nwakali started his career at the Diamond Football Academy. After his fine performances at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, in which he won the Golden Ball Award, he signed with English Premier League side Arsenal.

On 2 September 2019, Nwakali joined Huesca on a three-year deal. After leaving the club he thanked Arsenal for his time with them, despite not making a first-team appearance.

On Christmas day 2021 he was called up to the Super Eagles squad that will participate in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon which was postponed to 2022 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Former ARSENAL boy now playing for DIVISION 2…

    Is this not MOCKERY instead?

It is not. Because it is not easy to be successful in life. Life is a challenge my friend.

Let’s congratulate him and hope Nwakali will get a better offer than this soon.

It is better for him playing regularly at a lower league or club than nothing right?

      Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

It doesn’t matter if you are happy or not, as long as his family is happy with him, then is done.

Mockery, what would you have say if the guy couldn’t`t get a club and then ship down to Nigeria ? you will still say ” He cant even get a division 2 club” go work on yourself bro.
