Brok Harris says he is looking forward to another season with the Dragons after signing a new contract. Experienced prop Harris becomes the 10th player this summer to put pen to paper on a new deal to remain at Rodney Parade and he is preparing for his sixth season with the Welsh outfit, having joined from the Stormers in 2014.
The South African, who has racked up over a century of appearances during his time with the club, is happy to have sorted his future out and is now ready to focus on helping the team improve. “I’m happy to get the contract sorted and out of the way, to concentrate on rugby now,” Harris was quoted as saying by Planet Rugby.
“I’m very excited to be back in training in the team environment for a sixth season with the Dragons, having had a few weeks away from rugby. “There is a lot of talent at the Dragons and I’m excited to be part of the squad and to contribute in leading this team on the road to victory.
I believe that we’ll be able to turn this ship around and give the Rodney faithful something to cheer about.” The Dragons finished sixth in Pro14 Conference B last season, just one place above rock-bottom Southern Kings.
