Real Stand Firm On Pogba Stance

Real Madrid will reportedly pay no more than 120million euros to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer. Pogba has confirmed he is seeking a move away from Old Trafford after telling reporters in Japan he wants “a new challenge somewhere else”.

Real have been tracking the France international for some time but it seems Los Blancos are not prepared to pay over 120m euros [£107m] for the midfielder. That would represent a slight profit for United, who in 2016 paid a world-record fee of 105m euros [then £89m] to sign Pogba from Juventus.

It remains to be seen if United would accept a bid of 120m euros but French publication L’Equipe claims Real aren’t prepared to go any higher for the World Cup winner. Juve have also been linked with Pogba and could now be in the driving seat to do a deal with United if they are prepared to outbid the Spanish giants.
