Mehmet Tayfun, the Turkish-born Technical Adviser of Heartland has given reasons he has not been on the team’s dugout seven games into the 2018/2019 NPFL, Completesports.com reports.
Tayfun opened up after his charges went down 1-0 at Oriental rivals, Abia Warriors, on Wednesday.
He reveals his work permit is not yet issued, and that the rules does not allow him a place on the bench as a result.
“Now, I can’t sit on the bench. The work permit is not yet completed,” Tayfun told Completesports.com
“For now, yes, they are working on it and soon it will be okay, I’m told.”
Tayfun is on his second stint l at the Naze Millionaires fold.
Last season, he arrived following technical support/partnership agreement between Heartland and Boluspor, a Turkish second tier league club.
Unable to call the technical shots from the bench over lack of Work Permit issue, Tayfun went back to aturkey following the delay in restarting the league after the World Cup break.
He rejoined the club prior to the start of the current season.
