I Won’t Tell You Lies — NFF President Gusau Promises Super Eagles

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Gusau has promised to be fair and just in his dealings with the Super Eagles.

The Super Eagles and the NFF have clashed in the past over bonus issue and other entitlements.

Gusau, who took over from Amaju Pinnick last year has however told the players things will be different under his entire.

“The key thing I wish to tell you is that I as the president of the NFF will never come before you and tell you what I will never do for you,” Gusau said when he addressed the players on Wednesday.

“Whatever I know is possible to do for you is what I will tell you.

“There is no point to come and tell you lies tomorrow and next tomorrow. You know I will not do that.”

Gusau also solicited the support of the players which according to him is important for the football house.

“Whatever we do at NFF and we do not get it right with the Super Eagles, forget it! Just forget it!!,” he said.

“Sponsors who want to bring money into the NFF, they are looking at the Super Eagles.

“We are all looking for success and success for our country, so we have to work as a team.”

Continue appointing thugs as coach who only invite corrupt players and mix with a few talented players for their personal gains and hoping they can go free by grinding out results against a continent that has woken up in football. You’ll make account how you have lived your lives, everyone of you both the NFF, Coaches And Players who know they’re not supposed to be in the national team in place of inform players!!!

Bros, you are really right and may God Almighty continue to empower you in every area of your life, amen.
We don’t have a Government and nothing is working in Nigeria at the moment. I live here in London, UK but the different is clear. Here in UK, they look after their pets than human brings in Nigeria. God help us in Nigeria or Africa in general.

Amen Baba the people that accept the lies they portray to them in Nigeria are mostly Novice because if them cross common border talkless of boarding flight into EU UK or US region that is when they’ll understand what we are talking about. Is it not these same people that is playing as fellow thugs to leaders that is looting their futures??? The only reason I care about Nigeria is because one day we might return home and I can not dwell in Nigeria if change doesn’t happen after experiencing better life outside Nigeria. At the same time it doesn’t feel exciting that I will remain a stranger here because of the wickedness going on in Nigeria. That is why most people that speak are always Diasporas…… I will not relent it’s been years that we are screaming and we will not relent until we see Change!!!

  • Can’t we just chil a bit this man just got appointed and he inherited a very dilapidated football body system. Let us wait and see how he plans to changed things he was not the one who appointed all those coaches. Please cut him some slack. This is perhaps the first time he will be meeting all the super eagles players in full.

Kehinde abi Taiye and monkey can I ask you people a simple question? What happened to the aforementioned players who qualifies to play for U23 Alhassan Yussuf( Royal Belgium), Yira Sor( Genk Belgium), Nwobodo ( Cincinnati USA) Tella (Bunley) Abraham Markus( Porto B Portugal2), Aliu Alias Big daddy ( NK Lokomotiva Croatia), Sikiru Olatubosu Egypt or OSA from Insurance averaging almost a goal per match and not to forget Orban was forced on him late before he sent invitation to Gent. All these players are ignore for players who are inactive in Division4 and strange leagues….. I know we also have corrupt fans like you people and small small una go dey show face. You people will also be Judged if you don’t change your mindset.

You think With just 3 of the players I mentioned added to the team that Guinea coach will have mouth to talk after the match abi. You think I know players more than the coach who lied that he didn’t know Orban before he changed his mouth??? You think I enjoy seeing Nigeria suffer to teams that has no business talking us down at our home. Na cain una deserve for that country. No wonder you people are using Money to buy new Naira…. By the time you use 5million to buy 7 million nobody will wake you up you people have kuku shared Lagos….

      • In fact, I’m tired of the rubbish being meted on reasonable fans in Nigeria by our football administrators and coaches on opting for average foreign based players at the expense of victory or qualification for olympic.
