Italy Fantasy’s last Derby Challenge brings you three giant games

Juventus x Roma, Napoli x Lazio and Atalanta x Inter are the ones.

Derby Challenge, one event, tons of emotion!

The most unique game mode from Realfevr continues, but this time with three games at once, a debut for us . Juventus x Roma, Napoli x Lazio and Atalanta x Inter, from Italy Fantasy League, will decide who finishes in the podium behind the 9th time champion “Vecchia Signora”.

Juventus, Roma and Napoli do not have much to fight for, as the club from Turin has already won the Scudetto, the romans clinched the 5th spot and qualified for next season’s UEFA Europa League and Napoli, unfortunately for the Partenopei, will finish Serie A in the 7th place and failed to qualify for the European competitions through the league table (although they manage do it by winning the Italian Cup last month).

However, Lazio, Inter and Atalanta are still in competition to end the season in the podium, which will guarantee the automatic qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League. The team that finishes 4th will still have to play a knockout playoff before entering the Champions League group stage, which, at the beginning of the season, is always “risky business”.

Here is Serie A’s current Top-7 standings:

From all these 6 historical Italian clubs, you decide who you want on your team! Who will win and who will do most points on Derby Challenge of Realfevr:

  • Juventus or Roma? Napoli or Lazio? Atalanta or Inter?
  • Buffon or Lopez? Meret ot Strakosha? Gollini or Handanovič?
  • Alex Sandro or Kolarov? Di Lorenzo or Acerbi? Gosens or Stefan de Vrij?
  • Bentancur or Veretout? Insigne or Luis Alberto? Gómez or Brozović?
  • Cristiano or Džeko? Mertens or Immobile? Zapata or Lukaku?

All these questions will be answered this saturday, the 1st of August at 19:45 (GMT+1)! Meanwhile, create your own team here: https://fantasy.realfevr.com/t/DERBYITA

In order to clear any doubts on how Derby Challenge works, we leave at your disposal a piece of the launch article of this new game mode:

Derby Challenge: a new game model, much like a Daily Fantasy, where you compete in a single event, creating a team for a specific game (or three, max), with limited choices and all the adrenaline just jam-packed into 90 minutes.

In more practical terms, to play RealFevr’s newest competition Derby Challenge you’ll need to create a new team when one is announced (Derby Challenge is not always available) and the most common rules of Classic Leagues will apply here (auto-subs, manual subs, scoring, leaderboards, etc) and will run side-by-side with their “core competitions”, Liga NOS Virtual, Italy Fantasy and other options available at RealFevr. On top, there will be a leaderboard for the sum of all the Derby Challenges throughout the season.

In spite of the majority of rules being the same as the classic mode of Italy Fantasy, there are some specific Derby Challenge rules that you must be aware of, specially the following ones:

  • You can only register one team on the Derby Challenge;
  • You will have a maximum budget of 120M;
  • There are no limit of players from each club;
  • You can recycle your team every round of the Derby Challenge, since we’ll give you a Wildcard to fix your team;
  • To use the “automatic substitutions” feature, you can only make changes to your team until 15 minutes before the beginning of the (first) match of the Derby Challenge. If you make changes after that, the feature will be disabled;
  • The price of players won’t have price variations during the season, contrary to Italy Fantasy for example, that is a season long competition.

Now, don’t waste time and create your own team in: https://fantasy.realfevr.com/t/DERBYITA

Good luck,
The RealFevr team
