Iwobi Gets Very High Rating In Everton’s Win Vs Chelsea

Alex Iwobi got very high rating for his impressive performance in Everton’s 1-0 win against Chelsea at the Goodison Park on Sunday.

The ratings which was for every Everton player who featured against the Blues, was done by Liverpool Echo.

The Toffees gave their survival ambitions a big push with the hard fought win over manager Frank Lampard’s former club.

Richarlison was the hero after netting the only goal early in the second half following an error in the Chelsea backline.

Despite the win Everton are still in the relegation zone in 18th on 32 points and are two points away from safety.

For Chelsea they remain in third spot and are just three ahead of a resurgent Arsenal.

And following his impressive performance, Iwobi was rated eight out of 10.

And commenting on the former Arsenal player’s display, Liverpool Echo wrote: “Lining up at right wing-back isn’t his natural position and it did take away from the strong creative aspects he’s shown in recent weeks. However, it’s a testament to his desire that he still performed so well.”
