Iheanacho, who was pained with the outcome of the game has now scored four goals in 24 league appearances for the Foxes this season.

“We are really disappointed with the game. We lost but we played well in both halves , moving the ball quite well. I think what change the game was the duel,” Iheanacho told LCTV after the game.

“Obviously we are always together when we lose or win. We won’t dwell too much on that. We will move forward. We will sort that out and focus on the next games.

”Before their first goal we were dominating the game, obviously we were in the right positions, but their first goal changed everything.

“That is what we need to correct. We haven’t been good all season, but like I said we don’t need to dwell too much on it. We need to keep our focus and concentrate on the next games.

Iheanacho also reflected on his consolation goal, a superb strike from outside the box.

“I got a shot in the first half. I just took the ball well, move it, shift, shoot it and the ball went in.”
