Iwobi Named Fulham’s Man Of The Match Against Man United

Alex Iwobi has been named Fulham’s Man of the Match after helping them to a shock 2-1 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Iwobi was announced as the club’s best player on their website on Sunday.

Bagging the goal that secured Fulham a first win away to United in 21 years saw 41.7% of fans give Iwobi their backing for the award.

Saša Lukić came in second with 23.4%, ahead of Calvin Bassey (11.3%) and Rodrigo Muniz (8.9%).

It looked set to be frustration against United once again when Harry Maguire’s 89th minute goal cancelled out Bassey’s 65th minute opener.

But Iwobi got the winning goal in the 97th minute, cutting in before slotting part a stranded Andre Onana.

The goal was Iwobi’s fourth in the Premier League this season.

Playing IWobi in a double pivot defensive midfied position is a total waste of his attacking talent. Iwobi should play same winger he plays in his club for Eagles . He a killer passer in the final third. For now Only Moses Simon and Ademola are the reliable wingers for Eagles so Iwobi should be drifted into that department. He has the best last touch among the wingers. Moses Simon is trying but his final ball aways leaves much to be desired. For Chukwezze I think he has played his last the Eagles in the last AFCOn
