  • Iwobi just keeping working hard and getting game time…… You will hit the form you desire very soon and the goals and assist will flow for you……Thank God benitez believes so much in your ability because that is what matters most.

To say the truth without mincing words or being sentimental, Iwobi himself recognises the fact that he needs to step up his game in Everton by being more assertive, creating assists and scoring goals but what I see him doing is being timid in front of goal and not taking up the challenge he gave to himself.
I really wish he will come right soon because I love this young man and pray for him to succeed well in EPL.

Very well said @ Dr Bank. Iwobi’s struggles is not down to playing skills but has everything to do with confidence level. He seems so afraid to offend/make mistake. I have watched him several times, looking at the bench everytime he get his foot wrong on the ball. Sometimes I just wish I could meet him to bring out the beast in him. Not everyone is able to positively deal with rash criticism. Again I really doubt OKOCHA is helping Iwobi become better n stronger. Iwobi should be his pride.

@Very true @Glory, that’s why he performed so much better in SE colours because he has the confidence when he plays for Nigeria. I really wish his Uncle JayJay can sit him down and give him good advice to boost his confidence. The guy has talents and so much potential to be a success in EPL
