Lee Jones says he is “delighted” to have put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with Pro14 side Glasgow Warriors.
The 30-year-old initially linked up with the Glasgow outfit on loan from Edinburgh in February 2013 before going on to agree a permanent move.
Jones boasts 82 appearances for Warriors, scoring 17 tries, but injuries have restricted his playing time in 2018-19.
Glasgow have the opportunity to win the Pro14 title for just the second time in the club’s history this term and Jones is eager to get back to full fitness to boost their chances.

Jones told the club’s official website: “I’m delighted to be staying at Scotstoun, the brand of rugby the coaches have us playing and the atmosphere day in, day out make coming to work every day a pleasure. “I’m excited to get back fit and help the squad with the final run-in of this campaign.
It would be amazing to make some history as a group and I really feel we are building something here and can be successful for years to come.” The former Scotland international’s new deal will keep him at Scotstoun until at least June 2021.
