Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala will lead Team Nigerian Footballers against against a Team Naija celebrities on Tuesday, December 24 at the Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos.
Stars expected at the event are former Super forward, Obafemi Akinkunmi Martins, Nwankwo Kanu and Ahmed Musa.
Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor, Odion Ighalo, Sylvester Igbonu and Victor Osimhen are also expected to play in the game.
Entertainment stars Ali Baba , Yaw , AY Makun, Nedu , Broad Shaggy , Obesere and Idowest have confirmed their attendance for the event.
In the first match of the day, young female footballers from Oshoala’s foundation would take on a selected side of players from the Nigeria Women’s Proffessional League.
Both events are sponsored by Rev Mother Esther Ajayi, a sports phillantropist and the General Overseer of Love of Christ Generation Church, United Kingdom.
Oshoala thanked Esther Ajayi for supporting her pet project, the Asisat Oshoala Foundation and the yearly Asisat Oshoala Football4Girls Clinic.
The clinic helps girls in Lagos secondary schools to achieve their dreams of engaging in football as a career.

“I must commend my mother (Ajayi), my mentor, for standing by me every time I call on her for support. Her response to my calls have always been tremendous. “She has done a lot for us in Nigerian women’s football, we cannot but give kudos to her for the support,” Oshoala said.
