Joshua Kimmich is hoping Bayern Munich can pull out all the stops to sign Manchester City winger Leroy Sane during the close season. Bayern are known to be keen on doing a deal for the Germany international but the move is far from straight forward, not least because of the valuation that City have slapped on his head.

It is thought the English Premier League side want in the region of 100million euros, which is above and beyond what Bayern are willing to pay. However, Kimmich, who himself is the subject of transfer speculation linking him with FC Barcelona, hopes a deal can be hammered out.
“I would like to have Leroy at Bayern, that would send the right message,” Kimmich said. “He is a player who would be a good fit at Bayern. I think he is a very good player. “He has great potential but was not allowed to play at City last season, which I cannot understand. But it is his decision and the task of those responsible to convince him. “If I was in the club’s position, I would certainly buy him.”
