LaLiga: Chukwueze Stars In Villarreal’s Win Against Real Madrid

Samuel Chukwueze was at his best as Villarreal defeated holders Real Madrid 2-1 at the Estadio de la Ceramica on Saturday.

Chukwueze was in action for 90 minutes in the thrilling encounter.

The 23-year-old has scored once in 15 league appearances for the Yellow Submarine this season.

Real Madrid missed the chance to put pressure on leaders Barcelona following the defeat.

Yeremy Pino gave Villarreal the lead in the opening minutes of the second-half, but Madrid striker Karim Benzema levelled the scores from the penalty spot on the hour mark.

Gerard Moreno netted the winning goal from the spot after David Alaba handled the ball inside the box.

I HOPE CHUKWUEZE brings this ENERGY to the SE…

That’s my only WORRY and CONCERN…

Not all those his AIMLESS DRIBBLES and RUNS like a HEADLESS CHICKEN…

  • Nice game from chukwueze today with lots of energy from him…..He should have taken on mendi more because he is clearly faster than mendi……And the time that he dribbled three real Madrid defenders to cut from the right to his favourite left he should be producing a better finish there….. Lastly chukwueze should add some muscles by hitting the gym regularly because I don’t like how he is been bullied off the ball with ease……Moreno and his teams mates should also release the ball to chukwueze frequently when he is in a better position to score because chukwueze would have put the game to bed at the closing stage had Moreno passed to him……Las Las Nice game by chukwueze.

“At some point, he’s got to use his right foot, because defenders know he’s going to come back on his left foot”.
    So said the commentator today.
Chuks has the ability to dribble past defenders and get himself into dangerous positions, but when he tries to maneuver to use his left foot, it gives most world class defenders time to recover, and the chance is gone.
If he starts using both feet, it’s game over for defenders. He will become almost unstoppable.
Look at the great left footed players in the game today. They can use their right foot if required, and will comfortably take opportunities that fall on their right foot. Chuks needs to do the same to take his game to the next level.
