Ligue 1: Kalu On Target As Bordeaux Beat Dijon To End Winless Run

Samuel Kalu scored his second Ligue 1 goal of the season as Bordeaux ended their winless run after defeating Dijon 3-0 at home on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.

Before Sunday’s fixture Bordeaux had failed to win their last three league games, drawing two and losing one.

He was later replaced by Dilane Bakwa with 13 minutes left in the game.

  • Thats the spirit, prove your doubters wrong with your superlative performances. Rohr believes in your abilities thats why he was concerned with the news of you moving to the Turkish league. But no one is thinking of that now, two goals already.
Keep playing well, creating and scoring goals.
Wishing you an injury free campaign this season.

Thumbs up @ Kalu, one of my fav Super Eagles. Mean while, this boy Ademola Lookman, is the real deal. His tenacity, intensity, ferocity, skill and speed is frightening. Pair that up with the Wazza dazzler chuzzy in his element, then be ready to call out fire fighters to quench the burning grass. That pair reminds of Amunike/ Tijani babangida in that All African games football, cant remember year now.

    • I think that was 1993. Can’t remember too. Those guys were beasts. Amuneke was something else. He got a red card in a match against cameroon.

It was 1991 in Cairo.  Our Best attacking youth squad at that level in my opinion

      • Greenturf 4 years ago

It was all Africa games Cairo 91.

Amunike Tijani and John Zaki was a three man fearsome attack.

I know it’s a digression but I thought there was like so many clubs after Dennis Bonaventure but transfer window is closing tomorrow and he’s stil at Club Brugge

@Glory, that would be Cairo 91. Amunike was Messi before Messi, what a tournament. Thanks Glory for the throwback.

  • Despite his many problems I believe kalu is the next big thing after amuneke and finidi on Nigeria’s wings. Coming close is chukueze. If kalu was fully fit in nations cup the story would have been different.

Yeah thanks all. That’s was 1991 All African games football. Man dem. That team was fire. Amunike was just a beast with Tijany running defences ragged. Thanks Greenturf for mentioning John Zaki. There was also one Patrick Mancha in the teams midfield and Edem Christopher in d defense. That was when, we could confidently looked up to homebase players

    • Greenturf 4 years ago

Patrick Mancha,Usman Mohammed and Steven Musa were the three man midfield and you have one Precious Monye who comes in as well.Yeah Christopher Eden and late John Agum were the strong men in defence

  • Nigerian(SE) fans are synonymous to chelsea fans….

They sing your praise when you do well….

A little lost of form they rail abuses and curse on you….

I think we need to change this kind of attitude….
