If this score line is true. Then expect Nigerians to blast the coach and the team if it ends this way..

Many of those players that started the game probably have played their way out of the team

    • Why are you preempting what fans will say. Its not always about what fans will say but the output from the players. If their output is poor then they deserve whatever lashing they get from fans.
You don’t expect the players to consistently toy with fans emotions and not get reciprocated lashing.

Josh men! Longest time. Well said Brodaman. It is always a joy to read from you.

It is actually true! We are a goal down against the B team..

No video coverage but it is clear that some of our players have no business with the team.. we are playing with most of our second squad in valentine, awaziem, ejuke , onyeka, onyedika and awoniyi.. if these players can defeat an Algeria B team then they should be leave the team

    • Danny 2 years ago

Some of these players are playing together for the first time. Is football magic? You people should be calming down.

      • Ololo 2 years ago

First time against a B team for a professional footballer.. so if the super eagles team play a secondary school team for the first time we should expect them not to score a goal

  • I think we fans will be fine. After all, we’ve lost to Tunisian second team before and Okoye was also in goal that day and heaven did I not fall.

I told self made that Ghana would loose all its matches at the world Cup. Lucky Brazil sorry for you guys, next time ,they would spell Ghana. 5.0. Apu.

  • Ololo 2 years ago

Sure we will.. but these are the reasons friendly games are so important.. it will expose the players that have no business with the team,.

Valentine is a bench warmer in his club, Ekong has been sitting on the bench for months, awaziem in a low Croatia league, onyeka can’t remember the last time he started a game for his club, onyedika first game in the super eagles , it will be difficult for him, ejuke in and out of the super eagles, awoniyi, just returning to the team…. I guess the reason pesiro started this boys was to see if they should remain in the team going further. Our main players are on the bench and they will destroy the Algeria B team if they come in the second half

    • Greenturf 2 years ago

      Destroy!??I don’t know about that.
You guys should learn to lower your expectations otherwise you will continue to get disappointed and heartbroken should things not go to plans.

Omo I dey watch d match live o our performance dey good it’s only finishing wey we get problem this Algeria team Sabi defend o and we are not solid against counter attack which is where the goal came from, ekong caught napping for a second and bam goal but we dey ball them, this onyedika na player o.

Brazil don score Ghana o hehehe

  • Me, I don’t expect any magic from the super eagles players anymore! They are still to prove that they deserve to rub shoulders with the very best in the world. This is irrespective of the coaches that have handled them in the last two years.

On another note, I think new players should be gradually introduced into the team. We fans should stop clamoring for immediate invitation of players, whether foreign born or home breed, to the super eagles based on one season exploit in their clubs, They have to consistently produce excellent performances for their clubs (at a minimum of 2 years before they are invited to the super eagles). The sudden introduction of more than 5 players in the match against Ghana actually cost us the world cup (coupled with the coach’s technical deficiencies). This sudden change of personnel should never have happened in a high profile match like that.

Take a look at the French national team. Their coach don’t invite players suddenly to their national team. He is still using almost 90% of the same players that won him the last world cup. This means he has been using same players for 4 years now. He continues to use Olivier Giroud even at his present age while a player like Dembele can’t even make the first team or get to the bench in actual tournament situations. Nigeria needs to take a cue from what the French team is doing and not just be inviting every player to the national team. This is how you build stability and family bond in a team.

Players invited to the super eagles most prove beyond all reasonable doubt that they deserve to be invited. It is called setting a standard!

Ekong still makes mistakes, and it is ….You will think he should have gotten better. With WC experience, Olympics, and several international games. It’s time for this guy to start seeing the bench.

Tomorrow if they didn’t invite Awoniyi you will not allow us to rest but he couldn’t score against Algeria B team but Cyril entered and scores

    • Greenturf 2 years ago

Awoniyi is always a let down.He has consistently let us down.
I prefer Dessers who’s more prolific to Sadiq and Awoniyi.

      • Ololo 2 years ago

Same here.. I prefer Desser.. a very prolific striker.. awoniyi needs Time to develop before he can match the level of oshimen, desser and moffi..

Thank God we played a B team, it has shown the coach why some players should be dropped

        • Nonso 2 years ago

Please all you talking down on awoniyi, did you all watch the game at all. So because he didn’t score now he is a melt down. Neymar didn’t score against lowly Ghana today, hell didn’t break lose. please leave the poor kid. he was an emergency call up to the team. let him leave the national team and focus on his career. Because fans like you would soon stone him to death

Ghana need to bring some of their experienced players back to the team for the world cup, this present team is talented but they are young and inexperienced, from the goalkeeper to the defence look suspect. i hope they correct all these before the world cup.

    • Selfmade KING 2 years ago

The coach is simply dumb using the Ayews brothers!! They are our downfall

      • Greenturf 2 years ago

If your boys will play with same grit determination I see each time they play against Nigeria,Brazil wouldn’t be a problem.
Because Brazil at best will get a draw against Nigeria.
I want Ghana to play at that level they bring against Nigeria in the world cup.

      • Ndubest 2 years ago

In all honesty Dede Ayew is not bringing anything to the team. He should be benched in subsequent matches. He is old and not mobile again

      • Helius 2 years ago

Jordan Ayew in particular dat guy na super JB always spoiling ball 4 Ghana

  • Olujjjj 2 years ago

Play with Algeria B team. …some coaches wil never try it .

    • I personally don’t like the idea too. Why not engage other African teams on a quick arrangement instead of condescending to playing the B team (home base) of the same Algerian team you will play 4days time. It’s somewhat derogatory NFF. Why all this…?

      • Greenturf 2 years ago

Nothing wrong with playing against a B team of Algeria.
I’m sure the team must have benefited from the experience tonight.

      • Ololo 2 years ago

I don’t agree.. if we played a fellow African team A and got a draw , the coach will think his boys are good.. playing this B side has exposed the lapses in our team.. it will alert the coach that there is fire on the mountain.. some players are not super eagles material and this game has shown that… Same way pesiro dropped desser after missing glorious chances and same way he left a number 10 aribo from this current squad is what he would do in our next game with Portugal..

      • Una Wahala too much….pride everywhere…Una no even qualify for WC

  • Chibuike 2 years ago

Ghana Don dey collect wotowoto. Una think say na Nigeria. Ghana is lucky to qualify for world cup. If not useless NFF that sack our good coach. Nigeria suppose qualify.

  • Helius 2 years ago

Ghana don dey play Brazil ball 4 dis second half after dem don collect finish why dem no play like dis 4 first half.

  • Truth being told, some players are no more needed in se. Am beginning to see awoniyi, ekong, too supluss for eagles.

Some of the foreign base players only previledge to have made their way out of Nigeria to foreign land. In the actual sense they are not really better than most of the home base Jare.

No wonder they use to grabs offer from mushroom clubs like when lion who has not eaten for three weeks suddenly see a prey.

Abeg make them park go one side Jare.

Ghana playing well in the second half

  • Badge 2 years ago

Ghana should be playing pressing game, they have a good midfield, I think they are missing Partey. Impressive second half from Ghana.

  • Top it 2 years ago

Ghana let themselves down in the first half

  • Jonathan Kwesi 2 years ago

Ghana played well. But they just lack one thing. ” individuals intellectual blessed talents. With the kind of Coach on their side they would go far in the world cup but only if they have the type of Nigerian players who are naturally soccer inclined. They should go back and learn from the defeat.

  • Jide Dola 2 years ago

I want to qualify for world cup, sebi Ghana don qualify for world cup, loool. If not for wicked people in this country that made NFF sack better coach. Coach that knows the ability of his team and work to their strength, not a coach that will say my players are world class and at the end fork us up, coach like Eguavon.
