any links to watch the match

With this line up, I don’t think this clueless coach has learnt his lessons yet, where is Monday? Why placing  two heavy defenders Ohale and Ebi as the Central Defenders against the fast, speedy and young Botswana? What is another heavy and old player of Rita Chikwelu doing in the midfield?

Over reliance on the hype oversea players may be our undoing in this tournament. My prayer is that the God of soccer be with us but the technical crew are not doing a good job on his team

What happened to the Oyibo defender….The best Nigeria player against South Africa?

    • Lord AMO 2 years ago

There was a report that she was doubtful for this game and had trained by herself yesterday.  No word on whether it was an injury or something else.  I say something else because she did speak up on some of the lack lustre effort from some of her teammates.  Those sort of statements can sometimes ruffle feathers

      LMFAO!!

ARA NKITA (DOG BREAST or DOG MADNESS)

      LMFAO!!

      This your NAME funny o..

      LMFAO!!

      Now back to your QUESTION..

The OYIBO DEFENDER who happens to be my GIRLFRIEND is out INJURED..

  • GentleD 2 years ago

Our girls are really struggling and this is troubling. Wrong passes and lack of coaching is very evident

  • Lord AMO 2 years ago

The girls have dominated this match but just haven’t created too many clear cut chances.  Overall a much better performance than the south africa match.  Botswana havent posed much of a threat as our midfield has snuffed them out completely.  The goal was well taken.

Its a tournament and you certainly want to improve with subsequent matches rather than peak too early

  • GentleD 2 years ago

    @Lord Amo,
I only see disjointed passes all over the place. The team doesn’t look comfortable at all. No fluidity, transition is slow and unconvincing

  • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

The talent is there and the girls can do more but technically our bench is zero. That man is clueless.

  • Chudynak 2 years ago

The team is struggling. Passes are still not accurate and some of the players can’t just run

  • Ayphillydegreat 2 years ago

The full backs are actually our best players so far in this tournament. Payne and Alozie. No wonder they’re actually forward players naturally. The midfield looks better with Okobi’s in the starting lineup and Ajibade pushed wide. Chiamaka is commanding her defense well.

Overall, better performance than the SA match.

  • GentleD 2 years ago

    @Chudynak,
Very correct, our girls look very heavy on the ground. Onome especially is beaten for pace every now and then.

  • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

I don’t see the falcons winning it this time around. I may eventually be wrong but they aren’t playing like potential champions. SA has proved to the team to beat in this tournament..

  • Codex 2 years ago

Nigeria are winning 2-0, dominating possession 81-19,shots count as well so I’ll take the win despite the disjointed nature of our performance

  • Lord AMO 2 years ago

They’ve definitely stepped it up in the last 5-10 minutes.  In truth this has been a complete dominance from minute 1 until now

  • Codex 2 years ago

The Nigerian fans in the stadium sef are singing “all we are saying give us more goals” I love this cos against SA they were non existent I still miss the trumpeters.

  • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

With this win we are still 3rd in the group I guess…..And South Africa might sell the last game to Botswana their southern African neighbor lol….So we have to beat Burundi clearly.

    • Greenturf 2 years ago

I think there are two best losers going into the knockout stages being a 12 team tournament.

    • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

We are second on the table now***

      • Greenturf 2 years ago

I know we are with a plus one goal difference and Botswana having none

  • It was a dominant display by the Falcons today but not convincing enough to suggest that they will lift the trophy.

Still, well done to the team.

  • Kenneth 2 years ago

Where r u guys blaming the coach with his tactics. This was an excellent display. Every department did there job. The officiating was just terrible. Naija all the way

    • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

The truth is that Waldrum hasn’t been convincing. He has enjoyed adequate preparations and top class friendlies that no other Falcon’s coach has enjoyed. We might have been dominant but the misplaced passes and some other little things need. To be worked on if we are to meet SA again….

      • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

Need to be worked on*** sorry for the typos. Typing fast on the phone can be annoying sometimes lol

  • GentleD 2 years ago

It was actually Waldrum’s tactics or lack of it that made us loose the game to SA. We were tactically outplayed in that SA game plus the SA girls were first to almost all 2nd balls, knew what to do with the ball once they received it and played with a lot of confidence and skill.

From another perspective; let us also not forget that other African countries have stepped up the level of their female football unlike the good old days when Nigeria was like the ONLY oiled machine in African female football.

To God be the glory. Congratulations to the Africa pride, our Super Falcons of Nigeria. Well done job ladies.

Coach Waldrum and his team gave us total football today.

    How market Oga Rohr followers?

Are you guys kidding me? Did you people watch the match at all? Even the commentators were hailing Nigerian team for playing beautiful football from start to finish today and you people are talking like this? Who does that?

Ohhhh, no wonder Oga Rohr followers are in the house hmmm.

You people should calm down a bit kę. First, this Botswana team were better than the South Africa team. Am I lying?

I won’t be surprised if Botswana beat the mayana mayana over the weekend.

The funniest scenario is, Nigeria, Botswana and South Africa can still share 6 points each if they beaten each another and Nigeria can still top the table with goal different. That is very interesting though. Fingers crossed.

However, if am talking now, they will call me internet coach. If am talking now, they will say my mouth is very sweet.

Kai, where is Oakfield now? Shebi I told you before today’s match that you will watch total football? You thoughts bro?

Also, my pikin Dr.Drey were all over the place on Monday after the match against the South Africa and I warned him but he didn’t listen to me but today, where is Dr.Drey and Edoman?

Deo tried to analyze the situation here on monday but this my kid Dr.Drey was doing his thing wotowoto again and I called his attention to the last Wafcon in Ghana but he kept using abusive words. I hope you learn from elders from now on.

Still, this kid was calling me so many bad names. Drey, Edoman and the rest of the Oga
Rohr Nigeria limited can see clearly that coach Waldrum is very sound compared to our former world class coach Oga Rohr that wasted 6 years for now wining a tea cup.

From now on, when am talking about football, you Dr.Drey should get a sheet of paper and start making writing some notes down. Understood?

This is what I call a fanterbulous coach. Coach Waldrum made so many mistakes in the first match against South Africa and he fixed the Mistakes in today’s match. Ah, bravo.

Fellow Patriotic Nigerians, please we need your support and prayers. Womem football have developed tremendously in Africa for that reason, we all have to be patient with the new gaffer.

The conference is back into the team now and I can say that we are going to see more quality side of our darling Super Falcons. Oga Waldrum lole se oooo. Ohun lokan. Congratulations to Oga Waldrum and his team. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

l will talk to you later. Good night.

      • Omo9ja 2 years ago

Ok my lovely Edoman. Good night. God bless us all. God bless Nigeria!!!
