      • This is what wil made the world cup to land in Nigeria in 2022…head don dey roll

Obviously, Rohr did not believe in Innocent Bonke, that guy singlehandedly neutralized Cape Verde’s midfield. Nwakali is also needed in this team. A player who did very well against Atletico Madrid. If this is what Coach Rohr would offer Nigeria after 6 years, it means Nigeria is seriously in trouble because tactically, he is very weak. A 3-5-2 formation would have destroyed CAR, but unfortunately, this coach does not adapt to changes. Cameroun played similar pattern against us in the friendly and won. Indeed, the Super Eagles coach doesn’t learn.

  • End of 1st half. The coach has to create a strategy. But my fear is that our coaching crew is not technically sound.

The coaching Stan lack the ability to read the game and know what to do.

Rohr need to change the pattern of playing by using the wings if possible.

We need to press harder and use the flanks.

    • The issue is simply. We don’t have creativity in the middle of the pack. The only person in the team who functions in that role, of some sort, in his club is J. Aribo. Unfortunately, he was played behind Iheanacho as a CMF in the first half.

Maybe with Iheanacho being replaced by Awoniyi the coach intends to finally play Aribo as AMF.

Let’s see how the match will pan out for the SE.

    • Ya-Ya 3 years ago

It has been obvious from the get go that Rohr is lacking in the one area that should be his job. It is also obvious that Amaju is at the helm of the NFF to serve his pocket.

To add insult to injury, is it normal to have people work without pay?

      • The Game was won and lost in the midfield. It’s a shame that Nigeria can’t scout for natural midfielders with a Coach that’s clearly past his prime. We are gambling to a predictable pattern that highlights lack of creativity . We are blessed with good strikers and we have refused to comb for natural and talented midfielders like Spain is currently doing.
Same old song unless we remove the snail of sentiments.

  • Papafem 3 years ago

Osimhen is not getting enough of balls. This has drastically reduced the number of chances we are creating around CAR goal area. We still need that creativity in the midfield to carve out scoring opportunities for osimhen and Nacho. Both of them are falling too deep into the midfield to retrieve the ball. This is not helping us at all, going by the robust style of play these CAR guys have adopted and the water tight defence set up they’ve got out there.

  • Greenturf 3 years ago

The CAR team so far has put in an amazing shift.Unbelievable performances from a team lowly ranked in African continent against their more accomplished opposition. No one expected this kind of performance from this wonderful, tactical CAR team.
A lot of people in the forum where expecting a whitewash hehe.. after all football is 11 v 11,we got a draw against Brazil it happens, with grit plus good tactical display a small team can pull surprises.
I think we may win this from the bench,a win is what we are praying for now not a whitewash haha..life.
Sometimes in playoffs you get one surprise game it happens. We experienced it against Madagascar in the last Afcon as well against Liberia most recently, this kind of disappointment is what spurs a team to greater heights.

  • The goals will surely come.

    Good substitute with Awoniyi.

    That’s good from coaching crew.

    God bless Nigeria.

  • Mercy 3 years ago

The reason we seems not to be creative is the fact that our wingers have not master the act of wiping good crosses(the guilty of them being Simon moses)

  • Need for Musa to come in. We need his speed to feed Oshimen and Awoniyi with balls.

  • Why is Rohr doing like for like. He didn’t want to change tactics.

  • If he bring a defender for a striker u na go complain

  • Footballfanatic 3 years ago

Can’t underrate any team in a wcq. Nigeria is not there yet. We have to calm down.

  • xhuxhu 3 years ago

We still dey where we dey..Zero tactics..just kick and follow..sha that’s what we get from a Coach owed months of salary…And e don happen

TIME WILL TELL THAT ROHR RIGIDITY WILL COST US FORTUNE . IKPEBA SPOKE DAYS BEFORE THAT WE LACK CREATIVITY PEOPLE WITH LOW EXPERIENCE SHOUTED AT HIM ,NOW WE CAN ALL SEE THAT AT TIMES CRITICS ARE NOT HATERS, THEY ARE ONLY EXPRESSING THEIR FEAR . THE TRUTH BE TOLD ROHR IS RUBBISH. HE LACKS CONFIDENCE , HE LACKS IDEA . MY FEAR NOW IS OUR RANKING WILL DROP THE IMPLICATION IS THAT IF WE EVENTUALLY QUALIFY WE MIGHT HAVE TO FIGHT IT OUT WITH THE BIG TEAM ACROSS AFRICA. PLEASE NIGERIANS LETS STOP THE IDEA OF SUPPORTING PEOPLE BLINDLY ,I AGREE ROHR WAS FANTASTIC IN HIS FIRST 2 YEARS DURING THE AVAILABILITY OF GREAT PLAYERS LIKE ODION,MOSES VICTOR, MIKEL ,THESE ARE PLAYERS THAT SINGLE HANDEDLY BOOSTED THE MORALE OF ROHR.

  • Chidiomimi 3 years ago

    How market my people?

I won’t blame anyone though but if I have the power to sack, I will do just that with our coach o.

    I come in peace.

  • Not impressed at all. It shows that we can’t play without Iwobi, Etebo or Ndidi in the midfield. Plus, there was no urgency from this team to score goals and win the match. Honestly after watching Moses Simon for a while now, I can say that he is not a creative winger at all. Chukwueze is greatly missed here.

    • We lost this match based on team selection, not having good replacements for the missing team members and the lack of hunger in the players. I can even Now campaign that Victor Moses should be recalled into this team. Especially as an option on the wings. While Chukwueze should be his replacement.

  • Footballfanatic 3 years ago

Grinding out a win against this team away will be difficult especially when they see the possibility of topping the group lol. Wow this was unexpected. Everyone was thinking easy 6 points but there was some strange silence with this CAR team coming into this game no bragging or media games.

  • Angry bird 3 years ago

Amaju Pinnick and Rohr must go. Bad administrator and carpenter coach must go.

  • Tancosports 3 years ago

The last time Nigeria lost a WCQ game was in June 2004. CAR has just Broken the record.

  • Bobo Colorado Springs 3 years ago

When i said Central African republic (CAR) is better than the other teams in our group after their last minute loss to Liberia, some people here argued with me. They have been unlucky so far until today.

  • Bobo Colorado Springs 3 years ago

We should be thank GOD that Liberia didn’t win today, it would have been 6pts a piece.

  • Nigeria will not qualify for the world cup…we will qualify from this group, and then we will slide lower on d FIFA ranking playing us in pot 2..so we are likely to draw one of the top 5 teams in Africa and boom..no world cup

  • Footballfanatic 3 years ago

That backing is getting too comfortable. I would like to see Akpogunma in the game on Sunday. One of the oyinbo wall has to sit out that game. This is a shambolic result that throws the group wide open lol. A loss at home???

  • Definitely these boys should be thoroughly beaten with cane. They took it too easy in the first half making foolish mistakes. With this we don’t deserve to be at the world cup. They need to learn their lesson.

You don’t do what you like at the start of a game and begin to rush later.

Ekong and balogun just decided to give the goal to CAR.

Rohr you need midfielders when your trusted trio of iwobi ndid etebo are not available.

It’s a pity. To me this CaR team should just qualify from this group as a reward for this. Gallant effort from them.

    • Nigeria would have still lost this game if Iwobi Etebo and Ndidi are there with the approach we too from the beginning of the game.

  • When I tell you Onyinye Wilfred Ndidi is the rightfull Captain of this squad una go dey roll eyes okay o ko shaking. Ndidi doesn’t just stop attacks he starts them too from the same attack he stopped thats irreplaceableif you ask me.

Like i mentioned a few weeks ago Ndidi is as important to Nigeria as he is to Leicester City

Anyway i think we lost because over confidences the boys felt they had already won before they kicked the ball. Its a learning experience for extremely talented players and it is the first time some them played together. I.e. Frank Onyeka was mean to fill in a very important part of the team. Ndidi’s shoes thats not easy again just ask Leicester City.

In saying that i believe they will now take CAR seriously and the second leg will be a different story

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Wow…wow…woo. 6 supposedly “easy points” have now turned to “probability of 3 points”. This is a rude awakening.

    • @JimmyBall, Rohr is still the best person to lead this team. Even almighty Brazil and Argentina lose matches. They don’t sack their coach. This is just a lesson in taking our matches seriously. Given this same situation, I will still stick to the same players. With just attention given to style of play and urgency. That’s all

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

    .

  • Ako AMADI 3 years ago

Pay Rohr the money NFF is owing and let him go. An unpaid cosch can sabotage a team.

  • Ndubest 3 years ago

Food is ready whom are we blaming today? Rohr, players, pitch, fans etc. I blame the unpredictable nature of football, simply put a bad day in office. We will win in cameroon but we will play the game as if our lives depends on it. A sad evening indeed.

  • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

Moses Simon and Jamilu Collins should not be starting games for us. And it’s high time we get another good defender to break this Oyinbo wall. Sometimes they struggle against physical and aggressive strikers. Onyeka did a decent job in midfield and we didn’t get a lot of chances, but we missed promising opportunities. They now have to take the game to CAR in Douala. WorldCup qualifiers are always a journey. We flush this and come back stronger.

    • Wonder why bassey was on the bench all through, was literally shouting while watching the match like rohr is close to me for him to remove Collins for bassey, I mean let see what the dude gat to offer plus why turn awazien and Omeruo to complete bench warmer though? Some certain match need ruggedity which we can’t get from our both ekong n balogun.

      • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Femi… you could read facial expressions of Akpoguma and Bassey as evidently very disappointed! Rohr has no balls to bench the duo of Balogun and Ekong… especially Ekong! That man Rohr can never win spoon with Super Eagles… match got out of hand it was an old and spent Musa he introduced to turn the game around for him… Rohr keeps inviting players eratically… it is not the first time that Rohr will not care to take the issue of playmakers and good attacking midfielders seriously… always calling guys who are like robots in their movement in midfield! It is Iheanacho he depended on to play him attacking midfield…

  • pompei 3 years ago

This is the most humiliating defeat Nigeria has experienced in football in a long, long time.
The 4-4 result against Sierra Leone was a warning we did not heed. Other underwhelming performances came and went, but also went unheeded because we won the matches. Especially the penultimate one where Cape Verde practically gift-wrapped and shipped us the 3 points with the most bizarre own goal you will ever see.
Today, the chickens finally came home to roost. This is the culmination of the down-ward spiral we’ve been witnessing.
An average CAR side have put the SE to the sword in Lagos. Their strategy was simple, a strategy that Nigeria has always struggled against. They parked the bus, and hit us on the counter.
Where was all the attacking power Nigeria supposedly had?
Aribo again was used in areas of the pitch where his impact is little to none. This guy is at his best as a winger or AM. Deploying him deep in the middle with Onyeka didn’t work. His substitution is evidence of that, as Rohr tried to bring in a makeshift AM in the person of Ahmed Musa. Square peg in a round hole.
    Iwobi was sorely missed.
While the NFF have contributed to this with their nonpayment of salaries and bonuses, besides numerous other acts of gross incompetence, this is a result that just stinks. Looks like the SE badly underrated CAR. They thought CAR would lie down and be easy pickings.
I have always given Rohr credit where it was due. Alas, there is almost no positive to take from today’s game. Maybe Ejuke’s solo attempt to inject some imagination into a moribund attack. Apart from that, the SE were a stunning mess.
I expect Omo9ja to come out jubilantly now as usual. Go ahead and do your thing.
Your wishes of ill-will have come to pass.
The return leg is on Sunday. That has to be a DAY OF RETRIBUTION. A day when we go all out to put the fear of the SE back into the hearts of African opposition across the continent. What a day for Nigerian football!

    • I disagree with you on the part of payment been the cause, resign willingly if you can’t cope with the nature of your work, I seldom the blame game but you see that point you made regarding our last won match with the baddest own goal, that match was even worst compare to the team performance today but was surprise when non of the forum member blame the team woeful performance, does that mean all we care about is just win? I will advice Rohr to start bassey instead of Collins, kalu instead of Simon, one of awazien and omeruo to partner either ekong or balogun.

      • pompei 3 years ago

Yes of course, coach can resign. But what about the players? Should the players also resign? If all the players resign, na who go play the matches? NFF officials with their big bloated bellies?

  • Mr. Nice 3 years ago

why’s complete sport crew always finding it difficult to report news when a Nigerian team looses a match, or is there a team in the world that doesn’t loose a match ni?

  • I have been saying that we don’t have coach and some people always attack me on this platform anytime I make such comment.

Ordinary CAR has patterns of playing. the coach has the ability to read game and change the pattern.

I saw the goal coming as soon as CAR coach brought in his number 9 towards the end of the game.

This is what Nigerian got after 6 years of coaching Super Eagles.

  • Frank onyeka, Joe aribo, Ola aina and jamilu Collins all had no business on field today. Too casual, not business minded, confused, slow like pregnant women with basket of mangoes and oranges on their heads. They offered nothing going forward and lost sense of urgency, the defeat is unacceptable!!!. Truth be said we lost this match in the first half with our casual intent of play.

  • Tancosports 3 years ago

I still love this team with a passion. It’s like a game like this usually occurred once in a while as a wake up call to our Darling team. It happened in 2017 against South Africa and what happened after that? We came back stronger and trash Cameroon in a WCQ game.

I only fear for our ranking, honestly I don’t want us to got paired against any of those top 5 ranked team. Our boys will bounce back stronger.

  • Footballfanatic 3 years ago

Rohr needs to grow some balls and bench one of the oyinbo wall sometimes. They get bullied by African opposition and momentary loss of concentration from Balogun and Ekong. Awaziem and Akpogunma should be tried sometimes to make Balo and Ekong sit tight. These two get too comfortable. It’s unfortunate that we didn’t learn from the Sierra Leone game where we conceded 4 goals to tie the game. There seems to be a pattern of late goals and it seems oppostions have mastered our style of play. Time to switch things up now Rohr.

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

Rohr is loyal to certain players to a fault… Is Moses Simon better than Emmanuel Dennis? Can Ejaria… Nwakali… not do a decent job in the absence of Iwobi? What about Kingsley Michael who shone against Cape Verde? We have a quack for a coach… Cape Verde vs Nigeria in Praia was a gift courtesy a bizzare owngoal… Rohr team cant score goals and after about 6years in charge… the man just does not have it… what a shame!

    • Has ejaria get fiffa clearance. I don’t think so. Yes I expect that Kingsley Michael because he played very well last time. Even awaziem and omerou did well last timee. We played better and more purposeful against caoe Verde than this.

I think I agree with you on rohr over loyalty to some players.

Well left to me, I can’t water time to watch any of their remaining matches again. I have got better things to do.

They are just careless and irresponsible. They used the first half to dance around the pitch with no purpose. Rubbish. They need to be caned.

    • I’m inclined to agree with you @Jimmyball. I think this was a battle of match tactics and the CAR coach came out tops. A perfectly executed game plan by the underdogs and it went according to script.

Kingsley and Bonke made us momentarily forget Iwobi and Ndidi in Cape Verde, but they were both shoved aside today. Tools are useless if you don’t know how to properly deploy them. How about Nwobodo and other natural MFs & AMFs? We had to start converting SS to AMF.

And when he was injured, you brought in a pure Forward, thereby collapsing the midfield and forcing the CDs to go up front and abandon the back. They were caught out. Today was a tactical mess. CV will celebrate and they do have a good chance to get the ticket. They just need to win their remaining 2 matches, including at home to Nigeria. They’ll believe it’s possible.

  • WOW WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED!!!!
FANS OF THE COACHES CHOICE OF MIDFIELDERS AND TACTICS I HOPE YOU HAVE VERY GOOD EXPLANATIONS FOR THIS LOSS. I HOPE IT WONT BE BECAUSE IHEANACHO GOT INJURED OR BECAUSE WE HAVE ALOT OF MIDFIELDERS OUT DUE TO INJURY BECAUSE NOTHING EXCUSES THIS LOSS.

IM GLAD IT HAPPENED BECAUSE NOW WE KNOW THAT THIS TEAM ISN’T READY TO WIN ANY COMPETITION. WITH ALL OUR “STAR PLAYERS” AND “LARGE POOL OF PROFESSIONALS” ALL OVER EUROPE, WE CANT WIN WHEN IT MATTERS BECAUSE WE ARE STILL DEPENDENT ON A SELECTED FEW WHO WHEN UNAVAILABLE WE GET THIS KIND OF RESULTS.

ITS NOT A SHOCK DEFEAT TO THE SUPER EAGLES AS THE NEWS READS BUT ITS A WARNING TO THOSE IN THE COACHING CREW, AND THOSE WHO BELIEVE THAT A FEW INDIVIDUAL TALENTS CAN MAKE UP A TEAM.
WE WERE CRYING, SHOUTING ASKING FOR MORE CREATIVE MIDFIELDERS, QUALITY MIDFIELDERS IN THE TEAM BUT OUR COACH DOESN’T BELIEVE WE NEED THEM INSTEAD CALLING UP STIFF MIDFIELD PLAYERS BECAUSE THEY PLAY IN THE PREMIERSHIP AND BIG COMPETITIONS IN EUROPE.

THE COACH HAS NOTHING TO LOSE, HE IS BEING OWED ALOT OF MONEY PLUS NFF CANT SACK HIM WITHOUT PAYING HIM IS MONEY. PLUS WHO WILL THEY APPOINT AS COACH IF ROHR IS SACKED?
MOST OF THE COACHES IN NIGERIA CANT HANDLE THE SUPER EAGLES.

LET THEM GO TO CAMEROON AND LETS SEE IF THEY CAN DO BETTER.
MAY BE THE COACH SHOULD START AHMED MUSA AS THE CREATIVE FORCE, BONKE AS THE ATTACKING MIDFIELDER AND FRANK AS THE DEAD BALL SPEACIALIST. SO FUNNY!

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Sportsfan… very stiff midfielders! What does Aribo or Onyeka add to our game? All hype just for playing in Scottish weak league and in the case of Onyeka, baby EPL Brentford team… so it was because of Frank Onyeka that old coach Rohr did not invite a very classy and flexible Kingsley Michael? Now everyone can see the meaning of what Innocent Bonke was successfully doing against Cape Verde… breaking their attacks with intelligent tussle and fouls! People wey no sabi ball go the argue with person… Onyeka adds nothing in terms of style and creativity to our midfield… just another rigid sunday-league-bred player… if a midfielder handle ball for 5minutes… you go know, no be all this junk players in the name of playing for a baby team in the premier league… it’s been long we told you all African football is different from European football! If you see how young Senegalese midfielders… Pape Matar Sarr(Metz FC), Idrissa Gueye(PSG) and Pape Gueye (Marseille) and Cameroonian Zambo Anguissa (Napoli) the play for midfield you go use broom chase players like Frank Onyeka comot for match… very rigid uninventive rigidly useless midfielder… go watch Pape Gueye (Marseille) and Anguissa and come back and tell me if we have a midfielder other than Nidid who is solid… I thought the guy kingsley Michael played solidly last time to be called up a again… but with an old senile fraud as coach… it is confusion that will be a constant with Super Eagles… Invite yound players… Kingsley, Nwakali, Nwobodo, Amoo and Tijanni… they are all naturals and have come of age!

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

      https://scorenigeria.com.ng/kingsley-michael-vows-to-return-to-super-eagles-soon/

Noise maker…..LMAOOoo….Oversabi wey sabi ball pass coach. Apparently the old senile fraud of a coach even has a bit more sense than you as not to invite an injured player for a national team assignment.

Aribo and Onyeka are now Sunday league bred football players….LMAOOoo….at least they didn’t fail the trials that earned them the opportunity to be multimillion dollar worth players they are today.

Please continue with your rants….LMAOooo…they are giving us a huge comic relief at this time.

Christmas has come in October for you……LMAOOooo

Hahahaha… your lord Rohr don capitulate as usual today. I told you Ekong is not a defender… gimme Tosin and Tomori anyday I will tell that talentless Ekong to go and learn Vulcanizer!

We have been telling Rohr to invite Nwakali but people like @Dr.Drey will come with their impractical analyses about top 5 league…

The guy Karl Namganda who humiliated both our central defence pair to embarrass Nigeria today plays in the French 4th Division… top 5 league people…

Football no be chochocho… who get am get am… I no fit the take paper analysts them serious… they know kak about the practical side of football from no experience of their own…

You are disgusting go and sleep

        • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahaha….Yes, Rohr don capitulate once in a year as usual and now you have some happiness in the hard life you have been living for years. You have been praying for it for a long time and today is your lucky day and we all can really see how happy you are.

We should give you Tomori and Tosin…? I thought it was only Rohr that was senile….at least we can pardon his own senility and blame it on age. Pls request also for David Alaba and Angelo Ogbonna too. Request for more players who aren’t eligible to play for Nigeria…..we will even add Varane and Sergio Ramos as bonus for your satisfaction…..the Africa Adage says we should satisfy the lunatic by calling him “uncle” so that he wouldn’t harrass us in the market square. That’s how chronic your own senility is….so bad you are even ranting about an injured player not getting invited to the national team…..LMAOooooo.

Someone who couldnt pass ordinary trials (after being busted when lying to have played at the “highest level”) in caricature clubs is opening his mouth to call a player SIGNED with millions by clubs in Serie A and English Premier League “Talentless”. The same way an Eredivisie goalkeeper of the season is also “talentless”. You really know football…..LMAOOooo…..the practical football you played that didn’t transcend beyond the sharp sand banks of river benue…..LMAOooo. At least the talentless Ekong is playing at the HIGHEST LEVELS you can only see yourself playing in in your dreams…..LMAOOOoo.

Top 5 leagues are useless to you but when you will listed model midfielders, names of top 5 leagues gladiators were popping out of your mouth, like a drunkard who had just gulped another litre of cheap booze bragging about fighting in wars he never saw……….Matar Sarr, Idrissa Gueye, Pape Gueye, Cameroonian Zambo Anguissa, I was hoping you will list some from Latvia or Belarus, or from Italian 2nd division or Spanish 3rd division……LMAOOooo….lo and behold, all the model midfielders you mentioned are all top 5 leagues stars……LMAOOooo.

So pls tell us, which one of them is your Nwakali as good as or even close to in terms of ability and performance so far…???? A player who isnt even rated at a lowly club like HUESCA….LMAOooooo. If he was that good he wouldnt be struggling to make a name for himself even in the segunda liga…..LMAOOooo…that is the messaih who will turn SE around…..LMAOOoo….and you calim you know football. The last time I checked, he was an integral part of the U20 team that failed to qualify for U20 AFCON and the U23 team that failed to qualify for the olympics. He is your tree that will make a forest. Lmaooo

Since CAR has suddenly become your model team now because we lost to them pls discard all the players in the SE for your 4th division junkies that you always root for and see if we will win more than 1 international match per annum like CAR……LMAOOoooo.

All the so-called football wey you claim say you nak, we look Lobi stars registered squadlist for 2 consecutive seasons and we still no see ya name for even the list of their “affiliates”……LMAOooo.

Like I said earlier, this is your festive season…the last time you were this happy and found your voice was this time last year. Enjoy your festival till Sunday.

After Sunday you will return to scrambling for scraps….LMAOooo

          • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

Dr. Drey leave them let them enjoy this moment while it last. The last time we lost a qualifier under Rohr was in June 2017 against SA. That’s over 4 years ago. Obviously, overconfident cost us dearly today. Days like this don’t come often for Rohr critics let them enjoy it. Results like this are sometimes a blessing.

          • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahaha…….Certainly @AyPhilly, results like these have proven to be blessings. The loss vs SA propelled us to the World cup. The “loss” vs Sierra Leone was the push we needed to round up qualification for 2021 AFCON with 2 games to spare. I see this loss to CAR, though bitter to swallow, propelling us to something big….AFCON..? Qatar…? Time will tell.

As for the noise makers…we are used to their once in a year festive period when they will be all over this place for a few days like maggots over carcass. Every festival always has an end.

Drop Okoye…drop Okoye, he’s not fit to be U23 GK, he bribed his way to the eredivisie best GK award, he’s favored because he is half-german, he concedes with every shot on target (despite his 5 clean sheet in 9 games), as if his replacement will constrct a barricade across goal that will stop any ball from crossing the goalline…..LMAOooo. Okoye dropped, we lose to CAR. Invite Awoniyi, Invite Awoniyi as if Awoniyi is the 1 tree that can make a forest and will come in and be throwing balls in to the net with his hands, chance presents itself, with a widely gapping goal, Awoniyi fluffs it spectacularly……and they claim they know football because of the monkey posts football they played on pothole filled streets….LMAOooo. Their 2nd division washout who isnt even rated by his club is the new messaih that is better than those strutting their stuff at the top rungs of European football….LMAOOoo.

They all should pls come back on Sunday when their festive and happy days are over, if they will be brave enough to do so.

          • JimmyBall 3 years ago

Was Awoniyi not purposeful in todays game? It is only under Rohr players perform for their clubs but become scornful once they take instructions from Coach Rohr… @dr.Drey just accept that Rohr is behind in modern day football knowhow and tinkering… why did her not play a pattern that can accommodate two twin strikers or a forwardline of 3attackers? Rohr is trusted 4231 makes it hard to score goals because the lone attacker style does not work against African defenders who strong and fast…

          • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahahaha….Awoniyi was really purposeful….LMAoooo. Infact the purpose for which Rohr introduced him into the game was to fluff his lines with an open goal at his mercy…he was indeed purposeful…..you really know football….LMAOOOo. That was how “purposeful” you were in your playing days that you never passed a single trial everywhere you went even though you claimed you were a star…..LMAOooo

Rohr’s scornful instructions has produced 3 top scorers back-to back-to back…tell us another big lie from you harem of lies….LMAOOOo.

Rohr doesnt play twin strikers, I guess Awoniyi was introduced into the game to and partner Uzoho in goal….LMAOooo. Deschamps plays 4231 and he’s currently the defending world champion. I guess that happened in the medieval times….LMAOOoo.

All the teams we defeated playing 4231 must be Caribbean teams. When he played 433 double pivot it was still loudmouths like you who accused him of being defensive….now he plays his 4231 with an anchor and a box to box midfielder, it has become “un-modern”….LMAOooo. Nff is the problem, not the coach. Just look at the pitch, the field can’t allow the ball flow well. They can’t make short passes. Even if you appoint best coach in the world, they can’t perform with this type of NFF politics. Rohr is doing well so far. This is how Nigeria chase Jonathan out and vote in buhari, the rest is history
