Livett Ready For First-Team Battle

Warrington Wolves star Harvey Livett insists he is relishing the battle for a spot in the first team after his cameo against Hull KR. The Robins had twice led through tries from Ben Crooks and Craig Hall in the first half with Livett scoring in reply.
Tom Lineham, Levitt again, Josh Charnley and Mike Cooper then crossed as the Wire took control as they sealed a 28-14 win at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Livett stepped in for the suspended Toby King this weekend and he admits he cannot wait for the battle for a jersey next week.
He told the Warrington Guardian: “I thought I had a dig. For the two tries one was an easy walk in and the other was picking up a loose ball. “It was like last year, being in the right place at the right time. I am happy with the two tries but even better with the two points. “We’ve got loads of competition in the team. Toby’s played a bit of back row and Currie’s back in the next week or two. “I’ll keep working hard in training and then see what Pricey picks for the next game.”
