Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has disclosed that James Maddison will miss the majority of the season with an ACL injury.
Maddison has been a key part of the Spurs squad ever since he joined the club and Frank believes that he will be a big miss next season.
“Yeah, I think that’s devastating news for the team and for Maddison,” he said. “No doubt that we will miss him, and he will miss us.

“So right now, we just need to get through the first difficult spell until the surgery, and then in a few weeks after that there will be a little light that turns on and then he can work forward.” Frank told football.london
“I think we are definitely in the market in general,” the Spurs boss said. “Of course, when players get a long-term injury we need to look into that, but generally we are in the market yes.”
Spurs suffered with injuries all throughout last season with big players such as Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven and a host of others missing large parts of the season.
