India’s largest illegal betting network, Mahadav Book, has been blocked by The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). This comes after a crackdown on 22 unlicensed betting and gaming sites, which also includes the popular ReddyAnna Betting App.
On 5th November 2023, Mahadav Book, which has over 79,000 Instagram followers and runs 30+ betting exchanges, was banned after orders were made by the Enforcement Directorate.
