Marseille could have a battle on their hands to keep midfielder Kevin Strootman as he’s a reported target for Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to bolster his Reds midfield, and although he has money to spend on new players, a loan deal for the Netherlands ace Strootman could be a possibility.
The 29-year-old was linked with moves to United when both former Red Devils managers David Moyes and Louis van Gaal were in charge at Old Trafford, and the interest has not gone away.

Strootman signed for French club Marseille from Roma for £23m last summer and has been a mainstay in central midfield throughout the season.
But Marseille need to cut costs after a disappointing campaign in which they are sat sixth in Ligue 1 with one round of fixtures left to play, and have offered him out on loan.
United are said to be one clubs he’s been offered to, while West Ham and Everton are also keen.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
